don`t buy into the media spin.....i was very disenchanted and discouraged...but,maybe we have an outside shot at stopping obama....

apparently there are many more hillary clinton supporters out there that aren`t drinking the obama koolaid...

read the whole thing...and make sure you vote no matter what the msm spews...

if we go down,at least we know we did our part...

you`re making my point for me,rrc.....by totally buying into all these media polls....

we saw how wrong they were in the primaries...in 2000 and 2004...

if you notice,in the last month or so we saw some extreme numbers put out there for obama(15%/10%)....some think it`s intended to discourage mccain turnout ....

but as the election gets closer, the numbers have tightened considerably...the reason?...the early polls mean nothing...but,these polling organizations are worried about being discredited on their final predictions(the only ones that matter)....

so it behooves them to get the final numbers as close to correct as possible, cause thats what their cred will stand or fall on.......

i`m not predicting a mccain win....it will be difficult...particularly with all the ignored fraud and ridiculous court rulings coming down that will assist groups like acorn and these mindless college moonbats game the system....

but,the more i read, the more i think it`s much closer than the msm leads us to believe...

we`ll see...

I'm not buying into any polls...

I'm not buying into any polls...

The site I mentioned does a good job of dissecting which polls have been more accurate in the past than others.

The information they present appears unbiased and ,in my best "Joe Friday,"...just the facts.

Not an Obama backer by any stretch of the imagination, but a pretty compelling argument can be made that Obama wins in a landslide, UNLESS the vast vast majority of the polls are inaccurate.

InTrade.com is another site, I believe located in Ireland that allows you to bet on the outcome. They currently set the odds at approximately 85-86% chance of an Obama win.

Am I looking forward to an Obama win...absolutely not.

Do I think McCain has a chance to pull it out?

No.

Just don't see enough information to make me believe he has shot to pull off a win in the states he truly needs such as Pa.

how do you know that they`re "facts"?....the last 2 elections the polls had george bush losing both times...the primary polls for both parties this year were, in many instances, garbage...

i guess you could say they were "facts",but they were "incorrect" facts... ....

of course it`s an uphill battle....all i`m saying is i have little faith in polls...i think they`re for the most part skewed...sometimes unintentionally...and sometimes intentionally...

what really worries me,though, is all the fraud that`s being reported, particularly in the swing states...

acorn is being investigated in 15 states...

the dems are trying to render the military vote in virginia null and void on a technicality(but they support the troops)...

acorn is under investigation for racketeering in indiana...

felons in florida, who are supposedly disqualified have "somehow "registered and officials say it`s impossible to intervene in time to stop them from voting(of course they`re mostly democrats)...

college students in ohio, some living and going to school in england were caught in early voting in ohio....they claimed they didn`t understand the "residential" requirements(these were oxford students:rolleyes: )...

the atty general in ohio fought to make it impossible to check thousands of phony acorn registrations......

some judge ,i believe in ohio, just ruled that people can use a park bench number as proof of residence...talk about an open door for potential fraud...

obama`s massive internet campign contributions that are untraceable do to his campaign overtly diasabling the validation process that the hillary and mccain campaigns left in place....it`s used to ensure the campaign donation laws are enforced and rejects credit card doantions that don`t match the correct address.....

""The Obama organization said its extensive review has ensured that the campaign has refunded any improper contributions, and noted that Federal Election Commission rules do not require front-end screening of donations."".....

lol...thats actually funny...even coming from these pathological, unforgivable lying sons of karl marx ...they could have left the default protections in place, but instead the obama campaign deliberately disabled the default protections, claiming that they would then vet the donations (a slower, more expensive process than screening them) and return them (impossible, with untraceable cards).....

amazing...

and on and on...i could fill pages with this stuff..

yes,if mccain wins,it will be an amazing upset, given the crap thats going on in this election...

but, imo, all these morally bankrupt political hacks, the media and some pollsters would like to see mccain voters be discouraged and stay home....

correct or not,the polls are getting closer....that`s being confirmed as we speak......and my advice to those that haven`t bought all the obama bullshit would be,"get your ass out and vote"...

don`t let all the negative propaganda dissuade you from doing your civic duty....

we`re going to have to offset what looks like potentially, thousands, maybe millions of bogus votes and contribution fraud...

yes the hill is steep...but i`m not letting these socialists dissaude me from doing my part...

and i suggest that anybody else that sees through this this terrorist, anarchist, black liberation theology loving phony do the same....

the acorn stuff i get....that`s been going on with obama involved in one way or another for over a decade...

but the campaign financing issue?...
the arrogance is utterly amazing...

their sole excuse for this is that the federal election commission "does not require" what every business accepting online charges uses as a matter of course.....

that quoted paragraph is an arrogant "f-ck you" to the concept of honesty and the rule of law in campaign financing, and to the american people....

whatever it takes...:nooo:

The last two elections for George Bush. Shall he give thanks to:

2000 Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris
2004 Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell

I think Bush also spent all of his "political capital" and dug into the pockets of republican senators and congressmen who paid his debt in 2006 and looks like the remaining few will pay again in 2008.

Go Gary go. Work hard buddy. As Matt said, rally the troops. Sound the trumpet, the clarion call, save the country from the black plague, theres still hope, don't believe the evil media.

Half a league, half a league, half a league, onward,
all in the valley of death rode the six hundred...
african americans to the right of them
trial lawyers to the left of them
unions in front of them ...
boldly they rode, into the jaws of death, into the mouth of hell,
rode the six hundred.

adios muchacho,
landslide,

Eddie, Lord Tennyson

Do I believe in all polls as gospel? no

Do I believe in any polls as gospel? uh, no again

ALL I was saying is that the site does a good job of reporting and analyzying the polling data that is out there.

Did you even look at the Ohio data for example? They weighted FORTY-EIGHT different polling numbers taken over the past six weeks, (yes some are from the same sources. They weight them with the newest #'s holding the most weight and apply some other analysis.

They do not simply take every poll as gospel.

They do not favor Obama in their reporting and analysis.

That's all I was trying to say.

Is ACORN f*cked up? yep

Regardless.....IMHO...Obama in a landslide.
