Resolution with my bet with Judge........

Why there is so much interest in my bet with Judge I don't know. I could care less about other bets between posters at this site. Posters did not even let JUDGE and ME work it out. Instead posters choose to post hateful messages. Posters say I lost which really isn't true (yet).

Technically I could see how a 3rd party would choose in Judges favor in winning the bet. But you have to look at it from my view point. I only made the bet because I knew Moody, Johnson and Gable were almost locks to come to USC. (I am quoted on that) All 3 at the time were ranked top 10 in the country AND USC also had shot at 3 other top 10 RB's. USC still might get Johnson, Spiller and Gable. But I will lose because Scout took out Gable which is BULL$HIT. I never even thought that would be a possibility.

I proved to everyone I counted on Gable being on that list which he currently was ranked #6. Our rule going by final scout rankings was vague. I looked at it as if scout would promote or demote players which I thought was fair. NEVER did I think they would take players OFF the list and switch positions. I thought Judge and others would see this and sympathize. (WRONG)

If I bet someone USC was going to beat Texas and VY got injured the week before the game, I would let that person out of the bet. (If it was just a friendly wager) WHY THE HELL WOULD SOMEONE WANT TO WIN A FRIENDLY BET WHEN THE OTHER PERSON GOT ROYALLY SCREWED! I dunno, but that isn't me. I love to win but not that way.

All I was asking Judge is to let me HAVE GABLE or HE CAN CALL THE BET OFF. I thought that was FAIR! Its not like I win the bet IF GABLE is on that top 10 list but there is a solid chance that I do. With Gable off list and Moody moved from 10 to 12 I have no chance. I got screwed which should be obvious to everyone with a brain.

Everyone is so freaking hostile at this site. First of all Judge and I could not have a thread to ourselves. Others had to jump in and name call etc.

Anytime I lose a big bet or some issue happens with me all these posters come out. I know many are envious of my success but get over it.

All in all, I'll pay Judge if USC doesn't have 3 players signed who are listed on the top 10 list of scout. It was never about paying for the hat. It was the principal. I feel I was wronged. I thought Judge would see my side of things and modify the bet. Which would have been the fair thing to do but he obviously doesn't want too.

I tried getting your e-mail Judge but you didn't cooperate in letting MJ give it. Please send me an e-mail and get it from MJ. I'll pay you right away. This def. will be my LAST wager with someone on this site. I am used to making friendly wagers that are fair and stay friendly. Guess you can only do those things with friends in the real world where things are not cutthroat. That is the purpose of making it a "friendly" wager.

To all those who have a problem with me. PUT ME ON IGNORE LIST! Stop bitching and wining about me. Do yourself a favor and put me on your ignore list. You people give me WAY more attention than i deserve. However, I do get a laugh from all the attention. So I do somewhat enjoy it but it isn't good for the site. It was JUDGE who told ME that USC wasn't going to get 3 of the top 10 RB's in the country. I was confident USC would get at least those 3 and posted it before I even offered the bet to Judge. If USC did get those 3 recruits, then there was high prob. USC gets at least 3 RB's ranked in the top 10. It was a fun bet to make and gave me some "recruiting" action so to speak. Moody going from 10 to 12 was a bummer but I can accept that. I cannot accept Scout taking Gable OFF THE LIST.

Maybe you should read the original thread before commenting on a bet you were not part of.

Scott, I understand why you decided to start this "I will pay" thread, because it was overwhelmingly voted upon to ban you and you see the writing on the wall. You are a trip, welcher. I don't get why people constantly are bringing up if he bets 20k on a game, a hat should be drop in the bucket. IT IS NOT ABOUT THE HAT!

My Grandpa just sold his apartments for $3,000,000 profit, lives in a $2,000,000 home he bought in CASH around 10 years ago for like 500k and still owns one more apart. complex. He also gets pension from army and pension from fire department. He is loaded and worked hard all his life. Also was truck driver/painter/plumber etc. as side jobs.

Guess what. He still won't pay 30cents for cheese on his burger. He recently spent 5 months looking for a new car to find best deal and only got a chrystler. He recently went and bought a USED 35 inch TV instead of going to buy brand new big screen. He calls me up to place bets for him because he is too cheap to get internet and computer. Guess what. ALWAYS $5 bets across the board. never changes. He is generous in many ways but cheap in others. It isn't because he can't afford it. It is the principal with him.

I can def. afford paying a hat. Anybody can. It is the principal. I decided I'll pay up if I lose even if it means I got royally screwed with the bet. The issue should be resolved.
