It's pretty sad that Obama had to compromise with the GOP to get the unemployed some help. I wish he would have stood his ground and said NO.

Funny how the GOP doesn't worry about the budget when it comes to tax cuts for the rich.

The beat goes on.

Another thing to take note on this whole mess. Did you notice how quickly everyone moved when there was a possibility that the tax cuts for the rich might have expired? You just can't make this shit up.

Under a mask.
I actually thought it was a good deal.People who need unenjoyment get it ,and at the same time the tax-cuts across the board help the economy.

Without the top motoring alone the machine breaks down. The last thing we need to do is piss off the wealthy we need them to spend ....

Tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans do not stimulate the economy.

Well you could be right, but if it pisses them off(exclusion from tax-cuts)why take the chance of it having a negative effect on the overall picture.
Rusty... could you please explain why you're worried about pissing off guys who wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire?

Easy.Spending.They can dictate when ,how, and where ,if they choose to or not.

I don't know about you ,but I can't.Realistically they don't need a cut,but if it makes everyone happy (unenjoyment also) I don't have a problem with it.

In fact it's good to see them finally working together in a bi-partisan manner.

.............................................................

The wealthy dont spend their money that is why they have it. They hoard it because they can.

Drive older cars and try to figure out ways to screw the goverment out of their rightfull share of their tax dollars by hiring top tax attorneys and accountants.

The wealthy sucking the goverment tit.

You're not getting off that easy.

Give me a hypothetical example of a wealthy person deciding not to spend money because he's "pissed off" because his tax rate just returned to where it was 9 years ago and how it could possibly have a negative impact on the economy?

Rusty think about it.

A millionaire can drop five grand in your store and you think he is a spendthrift.

That may have been the first money he / she spent in a year.

Spend 5 K and hoard 800 K

can you not see that ?

Well,
Let's say for example this bill excluded the wealthy .
Who is to say they wouldn't be inclined to in fact watch how they spend. Not for lack of cash, but to make a statement.I know it sounds crazy but It's not that far-fetched.
