Got wrapped up with a bunch of stuff today, so couldn't post earlier. I know I won't have time tomorrow, so I'm posting those here as well. Here's what would have fit the revenge angle today and what falls in line tomorrow:
FEB 9th
IND +5 (+180) vs SA
BKN +5.5 (+190) @ MIL
DAL -8.5 (-425) vs LAC
FEB 10th
BKN +11.5 @ MEM: Tough situation with BKN playing back to back games, both on revenge. This may be the type of situation we rule out for the system if it shows negative results long term. Need to start tracking these separately.
PHX -1.5 vs HOU: Really like this spot for the Suns. Playing on double revenge plus their last loss to HOU was just two weeks ago in a nail-biter where they came all the way back from being down 16 half way through the 4th qtr to tying the game with just 16 seconds left when Harden hit a 20 foot buzzer beater to win. Suns have shown they can respond in these revenge scenarios, but they've had a bunch of tough losses, which can weigh on the psyche of a young team. If the line swings to the Rockets as a favorite tomorrow (already down a half point from 2) then the Suns would be a play for me personally.
Last week's results (FEB 2nd-8th)
*Revenge angle ATS: 15-7
*Revenge angel SU: 13-9
Favorites ATS & SU: 6-2
*Underdogs ATS: 9-5
*Underdogs SU: 7-7
*I removed the SAC vs DAL result on 2/5 from the record on the revenge angle games I posted last week because that game technically does not fit the system since the Kings don't qualify as a contender for a playoff spot.
