The Cavaliers couldn?t beat the Blazers on the road or even cover in the last five years when they were among the best teams in the league. I?m pretty sure they will suffer the sixth straight loss in Oregon. The Blazers are well-known as a tough rival on the home court, so I?ll take them on this one even though they could slacken down the stretch if they get a big lead.

The Bucks play with one of the fastest paces in the NBA. The team is averaging the second-most points per game in the league. I believe that the Maverick's inexperience will get caught up in an uptempo game that should feature a ton of transition opportunities. I expect Dallas to give up a lot of points to the Bucks. If you like to play the over, it looks good here but I recommend the spread play.

Sacramento is playing its second game of a back to back and its third game in four nights here. Meanwhile, Toronto is at home. (It had the last two days off). The Kings, especially with the fast tempo, as I said yesterday, will probably wear down in the second half if not sooner. Sacramento is playing well this season but they don?t have the depth to keep up with a rested Raptors team. Toronto picks up the win at home here to make it three straight wins.

If the Celtics cover this game then and only then will I believe that they are a threat for the NBA title. If they just waltz through this game then, I think, that they believe the preseason hype and think that they can just show up for a game and win. Great teams just take each game one at a time and "go for it."

Washington has played well with four wins in their last five games coming into this one but this is an uphill climb. The Wizards are dealing with a Warriors team that is white hot right now with eight straight wins coming in. The addition of Cousins to the mix is a major boost to Golden State as it gives the Warriors a five All-Star lineup to work against. That?s too much for a banged up Washington team to contend with here. Look for the Warriors to make it nine straight victories.
