I was wondering if anyone caught him on the show tonight. I thought he was easily the most educated one on the panel, and maybe the best panelist that I have ever seen on the show. I think it was Oxford that he went away and has been studying Civics for two years.

I was wondering if anyone on here caught the show and what they thought about him. If you missed him I would highly recommend setting your tivo for a rerun or maybe try youtube. To have someone with such substance and quality views and express them with patience and without bias was very unique. And coming from a Hollywood A-Lister no less.

I caught the episode and I was also very impressed with him. It appeared that the other panelists and Maher himself were also impressed. Normally there is a lot of interrupting and one-upmanship taking place during the panel segment of the show and that was not the case this week.

dreyfuss

he was awesome. so well read. his body language towards maher was pretty obvious. he wasn't impressed with his juvenile humor, just staring at him. really enjoyed the program.

saw that episode, too. Not sure which of the other guests it was, but when they said "richard dreyfus for President" I said where do I sign up?
easily the most thoughtful and intelligent guest Maher has had in quite sometime, if not ever. If you get the chance to see this episode, do yourself a favor and do so.

I have to see this again because i was half asleep and his speech at the end put me to sleep. I saw a good solid half hour off this show and to think he was the most brilliant guest is a total reach. Calling Bill Mahres humor Junvenille is also hilarious. Isn't he a comedian? I think Mahre wanted others to have a chance to speak because Dreyfus would spend 15 minutes on one point.

Boy what a surprise, a republican voter who votes opposite of his best interest thinks Bill Mahre is uninformed. What else would i expect from you. I can't remember much of this show but i do think he was talking a lot like a liberal would. So once again your stupidity is showing. How you live out west is truly mind boggling. Did you transfer or something? No way you could have grown up in a progessive state like Cal with your backwards ass thinking. You make rednecks look intelligent. Why not go do what you do best. Go start a poll to incite people and them when nobody post in it figure out another way to cry to Jack LMFAO.

agreed.. great actor!! I recall an experience about 20 years ago, while taking a girlfriend to doctors office in Glendale, when the bodyguards for Dreyfus, dragged him ahead of everyone, cause he was completely overdosed on drugs..:sadwave:

its was not a pretty sight..:sadwave:

I don't think a said anything about republican or liberal sponge.

I could start a poll that no one responds to, or i could put ratings on pictures of women in mojo forum all day and think your best buddies with the guy who posts the pics. I am geussing your three bff on this site are hammer, IO, and Vinnie. I am geussing this because everyone else on this site thinks your a jackass 15 yo that lies out his ass.

Oh nm, I could also post after the fact in every thread in handicapping about bets that you "made". I dont think you have come into a thread that you havent said "I have a big wager on X so I will root for ya" When the game is 50 seconds from being over.

Your lame sponge.

You really are like a little kid. Tell everyone how you got caught clicking views to your post to up the views lol, lol, ooh, lol. Im not here to win friends like you i have enough of them in real life and id love to unload three quarters of them. They come to my house I don't come to theirs. If you would have come in the top three on this alleged poll that i came in third you would have cried like a little girl. Probably left the site. Me i wanted to win but Kosar beat me. Still trying to find the dam thing but can't seem to. Im not to sad with the company i came in. I think Eddie Haskel makes a lot of sense. Most everything Kosar says i agree with. They might be sad because im linked with them tho. I might hire Eddie some day cause he only charges 25 percent. My lawyer is 40 percent.

To get back on subject......

I would kinda be in the middle of the opinions above.
Thought Dreyfus was obviousally well read and enjoyed hearing his thoughts, unfortunatley I think he liked hearing his own thoughts as well.
Also, I know he is an expert on the subject of Civics, but the panel did not focus ONLY on Civics; would have liked to hear him talk more about some other things as well.
As for the speach at the end, obviousally interesting, but a bit long winded.
Looks like studying in Oxford for 2 years does some good.

Use to watch "Inside The Actors Studio" on Bravo all the time. Thought it was interesting to see what each different person Lipton had on was like in real life, outside of the Hollywood appearance.

Many times what you think of a person from the Hollywood light, is not what that person is really like. Always thought Dreyfus was a solid actor and was very possibly someone I might like in real life. Out of all the talent I've seen interviewed on that show, or any show, he's possibly the most arrogant self serving piece of crap I've ever had the surprise to see spewing various opinions on how much Rock-n-Roll sucks and how much he hates any and all varieties of it.

With that said, he's probably quite learned and well spoken otherwise, but he's still a piece of worthless crap in my book.

Having to sit and watch him and that puke Bill Maher do anything together no doubt is my version of a living hell. I'm going to say my prayers especially well tonight for fear I will be exposed to such for eternity if I don't live well.

maher?

maher?

i enjoy watching maher's act occasionally. he is very sharp and entertaining. you must admit though most of his rhetoric is surrounded with blow jobs and **** this or that. i appreciate the wit but he really doesn't have to resort to the vile language. talking about the president ****ing his own wife is pretty weak even you must agree. dreyfuss was definitely on stage and loved every minute of it but the cat is on top of it.
