Right side vs. wrong side

Can you be on the right side if you lose the game?

I say there are indeed two sides -- but they are called the winning side and the losing side. And the losing side is never the right side.

If one team dominates abother all gaem, and something happens at the end to blow your score, I think that qualifies.

If a team plays exactly as you layed it out, and somehow still loses, to me, you were on the "right side".

Of course, getting paid is all that matters, when it is all said and done, but how many times have you said: "Boy, I was lucky to get that one home."

That is being on the wrong side, and getting a break. This is the ebb and flow of wagering.
