Why do people think it is ok to break into a store and loot stuff for free--that's not right to do that?

I'm sure I'm not the only one noticing it, but why is RIOTING becoming more and more acceptable by otherwise decent, law-abiding, and often prominent people?...??.In a case of people becoming more disrespectful of others property and lives, isn't the next step for these vigilantes to round up the cops' family members and harm them? Just saying

Rioting isn't done to "protest", it's done because there are zero consequences most times. Those animals hide under the cloak of "justice for _______", while destroying property, and hurting people. Then, you get the looting, because you deserve free shit because of the way "your people" have been treated.

Quite often, civil leaders in the black community ignore the actions of these idiots, as if its payment for white crimes against blacks. It's a perpetual cycle with no end in sight.

I AGREE, BUT IT APPEARS TO ME THE OPPOSITE BELIEF IS BECOMING MORE "MAINSTREAM".....LOOK HOW MANY POLICE FORCES ARE TOLD TO STANDDOWN.

I would like to know where those right-wing, gun toting hillbillies are? You could stand on the steps of state Capitol buildings waving your guns with zero physical theat, so why cant you go get control of the streets back from these law breaking crowds?

What a tragedy! First George Floyd loses his life not just unnecessarily but unconscionably . Then he suffers additional humiliation post mortem by the "Thugs" (yes, Thugs) who pilfer and destroy in his name. I don't blame the community for vociferous protests and outrage but that particular segment of the protesters that engage in looting and mayhem, are not grieving for George Floyd. They are taking advantage of his ugly demise for their own ugly and prurient interests.

Regular citizens have to get fed up enough to stop this. These rioters and looters won't stop until they are afraid of consequences. They know a few hundred cops won't stop them, but 10,000 angry citizens beating the shit outta them might.

Sounds like that is starting to happen in some areas.....I've seen reports of citizen taking spray cans away and backing the police....

Most of these people have been on lock down from Covid and have a ton of pent up energy to start with.....Then the killing of this man gave them an avenue to explode....

Time will tell how/when this will end, sad times....
