The Doctor before The Doctor...

Possible the most underrated player ever.

Thanks for the memories.

Nobody in the history of the NBA ever have hang time when he left his feet driving to the basket , it wasn't ups or springs ..or height.. he just floated in the air more then anybody. unless you saw him play you cannot explain what I'm talking about. He had great moves and when he drove to the basket he went up. So did the defensive player . But gravity made the defensive player come back down to earth. Elgin was still in the air longer. And it wasn't that he jumped higher .. he had something we call " hang time". Now Dr J ,Micheal and many more had more power and " ups" Elgin kinda " glided up with a little Space Gravity . And once he was airborne he could change his shot in the air.. There is no one today in the NBA you could compare him too. I hated him and his Lakers only because they always seem to win especially vs the Knicks except in 1969 ..But although there are so many great NBA players Baylor is up there. God he was good. RIP Elgin.. I know your spirit " floated" up there in the clouds today

I was too young to get to see him play.

I mostly remember him, w his position as the GM w the LA Clippers!

Go figure, but have heard about his MAD Skills, as a player!

Obviously..... One of the Greats!!!!!!
