Most amazing stat I heard about Hank . if you take away his 755 home runs he still has over 3,000 hits not sure why that blew me away. Growing up a Phillie fan never liked the Braves . Hank , Eddie Mathews and Warren Spahn ..that's 3 superstars on one team ..My 1st baseball cap when I was 8 yrs old was a Milwaukee Braves hat . I was drafted by the little league team Braves, We wore the major league hat. Dark Blue with a big M red bill. I wore that hat for years and everyone always asked me are you a Brave fan... could never find a Phillie hat. and when I did find one it was a woolen red Phillie hat with a huge size that I couldn't wear .. RIP Hank there are many foul balls you hit in the clouds up here never claimed St Peter has dozens he is selling
