You guys had a nice run but after you closed the startdust the era is ova

Move Over, Nevada: New Jersey Is the Sports Betting Capital of the Country

Bettors wagered more in New Jersey than in any other state in May, surpassing Nevada and its large Las Vegas sports books.

Why the fuk would you want to go to Vegas ? Too hot and a bunch millennials going to Vegas for the nightclubs . Casinos are nationwide and now sports books are everywhere .
Blue Chip in Indiana has a state of the art SB. Why fly to Vegas for March Madness ?

Conclusion 5 years from now Vegas will be a saw mill town 😆😆

Yup "Stardust" was one for the ages If it wasn't there i would never have ended up in this business. An education that will never ever be around again. Where else do you go to learn from people that do this as a profession ?? Clark Community College had courses on Wagering. Seminars with the guys that set the lines etc !!

Too bad you didn't adjust with the changing times, that's why you can't win anymore.

These new SB are state of the art . You can make all wagers electronically right at your table .live bets too . No need to wait in lines . They have cash machines too . Insert your winning wager and the machine disburses the cash .

Dr feelgood, I think Las Vegas is the dirtiest place I have ever been (outside third world Haiti). Otherwise I agree with you , and I disagree with Mr Lock. Long live, Begas!

PS. As jack says, please bring back the mob, and quit gouging the casino patron at every possible place. It?s ridiculous how greedy Las Vegas has become. That will lead to the downfall far before sportsbooks in New Jersey and Indiana!

Greed will kill them. Correct bring back the mob! WE have a new casino in Boston, a Wynn casino. These nuts want to charge $22 to park! They have backed down and are running a special free parking during the week and a buck off your players card on weekends. WTF are they thinking?

Also rooms are around $400 bucks a night. High table limits, they are nuts. People are going to see it but the crowds are getting slimmer and slimmer. WE went Friday night and the pace was pretty much empty considering it was a Friday.

OH yeah no place to eat. I mean they have super expensive restaurants and a $40 buffet but if you just want a hamburger or something well you can get one for about 20 bucks, fries and drink are extra.

I was thinking of the poor soul who drops about $500 on the craps table then has to shell out another $22 to get out of the place.

I still like Begas.

No, it's not the same as it was in the 80's and early 90's but they still have plenty of things I like. I'm heading out again next week for the 4th time this year already.

You should have enough reputation points for a free buffet.

They usually comp me my room charges when I leave so I charge everything to my room. Just go see the host on duty and ask for it when I leave. Rooms always comped no matter what I play or how much.

The old days everything was comped including reimbursement for air. And I was only a quarter player back then.
