ND had 7 of the top 100 in 2007 and that class went 2-6 combined against Michigan and Spartina.

Look out America, ND is BACK!! Return to Glory Part 7: This time, it's for realz!

You know it's different this time. You said so yourself. :0074

I would appreciate Brian Kelly staying off the UM schedule for as long as possible.

Great hire for ND if he can survive the politics of being at a place like that.

. . . And you know it's different this time for Michigan as well. Can't recruit in Ohio anymore, losing out to Michigan State in Michigan . . . .it's just a matter of time.

Good luck with the hockey team!!! ;)

I thought ND made a great hire with Charlie Weis:shrug:

ND's coach du jour always pulls in an allegedly great recruiting class. It'll be different when ND actually does something on the field. Beating Navy would be a good start.

Notre Dame has to worry about beating the Michigan's of the world before it worries about beating Navy.

Good luck flipping some more Purdue recruits :toast:

BBC which means what. Its the kids out of the top 100 who make the difference. ND has had that many before and they are still down.

Notre Dame has been an exception, but it is a starting point. If you're going to win a national championship, you're either going to have to recruit well or pay $200k for a QB, so it's nice to see that recruiting is back up.

Alternatively, if you're programs ceiling is to beat all the crappy teams on the schedule, beat the average teams at home and lose the rest, get owned by Northwestern, win a conference championship every 20 years and pray like hell that the Bowl opponent overlooks you, then you don't need to recruit all that well.

ND is a joke and will always be a joke going forward. You know and everybody else knows it too. Good luck beating Navy next year...
