On the course!
The place name of Riverside can be found in all but four states (it does not exist in Hawaii, Alaska, Louisiana, and Oklahoma)

Most popular US city name!

Somewhere in Corn Country
Riverside Iowa is the future birthplace of captain James T Kirk of the starship Enterprise.
They have a trek fest every year. Worth checking out if you're a Trekkie.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I wondered about this myself, so spent a few mins checking...

yeah, that wikipedia article has so many problems, I wouldn't bother with anything in it. It starts off by mentioning a list of most common post office names, but no link to any reference we can check. The current PO lists are similar, but with the huge glaring exception of not having the #1, Springfield, which wiki lists at a ridiculous 41.

Most folks posting about this subject reference an article by Dan Tilque from 2001. Here is one example, from ThoughtCo.com (by Matt Rosenberg - Updated March 03, 2017):

Is there a place name that exists in all fifty states?

Recreational linguist Dan Tilque researched this topic, which was published in Word Ways in 2001. He utilized the US Geologic Survey's Geographic Names Information Service to discover that while Springfield is commonly thought of as the most prolific place name, the place name of Riverside can be found in all but four states (it does not exist in Hawaii, Alaska, Louisiana, and Oklahoma).

but quick look myself in this database (you select Feature Class terms "census" and "locale" and "populated place") I see the "Riverside" in Maine is some place name on a map in the township of Vassalboro. A small village, the name probably not used by many. Barely meets the definition of village, and not at all what most folks think when they speak of cities or towns...

Before the updated road a few years back, the stretch from The Cony Rotary out through Vassalboro and into Waterville was called "Riverside Drive"......My Aunt lived on that stretch when I was growing up, and played golf many times at Natanis in Vassalboro......:0008
