Thinking of going on a road trip to Denver to catch a Dodgers game on the 17th next month. Anyone here done it and what are cool places to check out? Going via the 40 on the way because I want to check out Flagstaff and Santa Fe. Two cities I think of when I retire in 5 years. Back via the 70 and check out Grand Junction and St. George/Zion Park.

If you're going to visit any national parks, plan ahead as crowds are ridiculous this year. Some parks require timed tickets.

I was planning on visiting two, GC and Zion. Entrance fees were $35/$30. So how much can I really see without having to pay for a tour?

A friend of mine owns littlehouse restaurant in Telluride. Stop by if you swing through that area. He is a killer chef
