Rockies 200 to win 220. Starters pretty close in terms of talent. Padres get edge in lineup but think unproven young Rocks start the season with a bang...sometimes a fresh start and youth can temporarily elevate your game...so keep an eye on the Rocks through May...Padres a better more veteran team but just see them getting a slow start.


Dodgers 200 to win 208. Facing Reuter will be a pleasure after facing Schmidt. I know, the junk after heat can be considered baffling..but these Dodger sticks are better than people think...think Reuter gets racked and without Bonds there's no SF comeback.

$230 to win $200 Both these starters throw pretty straight stuff in terms of fastball movement...just the kind of speed that good hitting teams can tee off on. One of the two won't be able to get their curve ball/slider over and that spells trouble. One of these two is going to get rocked in the first few innings...just don't know which one...so play the over...hitters ball park helps as well.
