Roger has been one of the greatest, certainly the most decorated, singles players in the history of mens tennis. His "down" years are career seasons for any other player. Federer has been on top for most of the last six years and that makes it very difficult to find any value in his matches. More often than not, a great price can be found on the opposing player, even in the finals of most tournaments. One must either eat all that chalk (something I NEVER like to do when betting tennis. Too much risk) or get creative in their wagers. Most books offer a small amount of prop bets on each match.

I settled on the hyper-specific prop of Fed winning 2-1 @ +320. The Frenchman Monfils takes the first set in a tiebreak, something that would become a familiar refrain throughout the match. All three sets went the distance, with Monfils prevailing 7-4 in the third set tiebreak. Federer had FIVE MP's and would/should have closed this out. '

Fed Ex is a money maker....for the books. People have to lay big numbers or hope they can project not only the winner, but also the score.
