UGH :mj07:

All year long I didn't want them to make the playoffs. Finally they do, they play 2 good games as an 8 seed and now Rondo is out with a broken thumb.

Unbelievable

The value of a broken thumb...

Before Rondo Injury: Bulls -1.5 for Game 3

After Rondo injury: Celtics -2.5 for Game 3

Celtics are not winning this series. I'd imagine if Isaiah's sister didn't die in a car crash the day before game #1 the Bulls would not be up 2-0. Celtics are done. Now way Isaiah played first two games then went home to Washington to grieve with his family and is then going to show up in Chicago and have his head into basketball. Rondo did some good things but Butler and Wade are the reason they are up 2-0. I think Chicago wins tonight.

A guy who shoots 40% from the field and scores less than 8 PPG is worth a 4 point swing?

Bulls efficiency rating is about +16 with him on the court

Almost -6 on bench

Butler will have to handle the ball a lot more.

Bulls might still win series but not sure if they win tonight. I think Celtics try to get physical tonight. Ruffle some feathers

My take and has been for the past few days and I should have taken Boston when they were +ML.

Celtics win tonight, whether Rondo was on the court or not. Chicago might win the series, but the Celts aren't going down 3-0 or getting swept. Rondo worth a lot more as of late to the Bulls and he has been a good part of their success, not as much as Wade or Butler, but has played a key part in them doing well. It's going to hurt the Bulls not having him but they are all still professional players and can do it without him. I just don't think they would have gotten it done tonight with or without him.
