Doing the rumour mill in Tassie is that Roos will coach Sydney next year and Eade will hed west to Freo. Watched the replay of the swans/freo game on Austar as a swans fan i was happy for the win but as a game it was an absolute shocker. Some swans players look disinterested, good to see Nic Fosdike finally getting a decent run, Eade said a few weeks ago players like Fosdike had not come on as expected, but this is a bit hard when he has spent alot of the season on the bench. Time to give the younger players some quality minutes and games Kirk,O'Keefe,Bennett,Tennelly,Stevens just to name a few.Drop some big names this will wake a few senior players out of their mid-season slumber.

I think that Sydney need to change something to get some spark back into their footy, and the coach is probably the best place to start.

In my opinion Eade looks a bit bored with his role which I think is starting to show in the way Sydney are playing at the moment. Roos would offer enthusiasm and fresh ideas, not to mention some good old fashion emotion.

I was just hearing on the sports news that Drumm (the Fremantle coach) has basically accepted that he will be sacked tomorrow. I think this is a shame but it is typical of AFL clubs. I don't think that Eade is necessarily the best man to replace him though.

I didn't get to see the Sydney vs Freo match but from what I hear the only exciting aspect was a fairly close scoreline for the most of the match.

It is fairly amazing how Sydney have the exact same record in 2001 as they did in 2000.

They lost in Round 10 last year and chances are they will lose again in Round 10 this year when they meet an in-form Collingwood team.
