This is the week 1 schedule. I've only included the Rotation numbers for the Visitor; the Rotation number for the home team is one more than the visitor's number (e.g., NC State's number is 128). The times are Pacific Standard, I believe.

I did not know that. ESPN, CBSSportsline, College Football News, College Football Rivals, USA Today, Phil Steele, Athalon, Lindy's, Stassen.com, Danny Sheridan and I have always just called the first week "Week 1." Should I be calling the first game "Game 0"? Why not just call the first week of NFL "Week 2" so it matches up with NCAA football? These questions are rhetorical - please don't answer them.

Walk up to ANY college football fan OR gambler and ask them who their favorite team plays Week 1 - you are simply NEVER going to get that team's second game.

Those folks that want to call this Week 0, go right ahead, but I'm sticking with Week 1. Just so you know its coming, the following week will be Week 1a,and the one after that, 1aa etc.

Cie and I had a small issue a couple of weeks back because I responded to his snarky "you sound like more of a fan than a capper" in similar voice. I had thought that water under the bridge, but I guess not. Other than that, I don't remember any exchanges, good or bad, between us in the 7+ years I've been registered at this site.

I may have responded rather pointedly to the "For your information..." post, but just as if it had started off with "Listen here and you might learn something, boy", I bristled when I should have just moved on (I originally titled the response something like "Not Thanks, not no comment of any sort, but FOR YOUR INFORMATION, IT'S WEEK 0!"). I think part of Cie's advice is good, though - don't take it personally. It's sometimes hard to tell the spirit in which a post is made and apparently I missed the spirit of Falcon's. In the extreme off-chance that he/she would possibly care in the slightest what I think of him/her, take comfort in the fact that I will have forgotten who was involved in this nonsense very shortly.

Other than these 2 times, I don't recall ever being intentionally or unintentionally goaded into any hostile response to anyone over anything at this site.

Now, let's let this drop. I brought it all on myself, and I have been chastised. I will try to be nicer to almost everyone.
