"the bunker"
you do the unders in johnson/moore and berto/rivera and get 1.5 back for 1....

i`m surprised that the berto under is higher than the johnson under....

i`m getting wagering withdrawal...even knowing unders are chancy,i may play it for fun.....

I missed out on the Castillo Over, didn't like the fact that Andrade was stopped in his last fight, but I didn't research that fight so it could've been an injury or something else. By the time I saw you really liked the Over, it was off the board, oh well I should've been more on top of it and found out what happened to Andrade in the Villa fight. Had my focus in other directions and missed an easy winner...it happens

Actually I have no idea who you're talking about, I was just joking

When I said "sounds like someone else I know" I was referring to myself as Castaneda Jr +500 and Johnson Under +160 were the first 2 plays I posted here this week

Anyway, if this guy has been on a roll lately I'd like to see what he's on each week, keep posting if you have time

Btw, are you scalping any of the Forrest + money, I know you got a better line than I did. With +158 on Forrest and Baldomir now +160 I had to cover the possible loss.

Congrats on the big Hopkins winner last week

From fightnews...

Bojado started fast, landing lighting combinations. Castaneda made a brave effort by applying pressure and employing rough house tactics every time he could. Panchito landed the first significant blow of the fight by unloading a crushing right hand. Castaneda survived the round by holding and pinning his head in Bojado?s chest.

Bojado was in control throughout the bout, using heavier artillery and faster hands. He switched to southpaw stance landing lead rights to the body and peppering Castaneda with right jabs. Castaneda fought well in the middle of the round by landing two overhand rights that caught Bojado?s attention. He responded by dropping his hands and taunting him.

Both fighters received a warning by referee Bobbie Ferrara for rabbit punching out of a clinch at the start of the fifth. Bojado landed a lead left hook flush on Castaneda?s jaw, causing a roar from the crowd. Castaneda retaliated by pinning Bojado against the ropers and attacking the head and body with both fists. Bojado rolled most of the punches off his shoulders, diminishing the effect of the blows.

In the seventh, Bojado went back to southpaw, landing multiple combinations to Castaneda?s head and body. Castaneda continued marching forward taking punishment, taking four to land one. Bojado punctuated the round with a massive left hook that sent a halo of water from Castaneda?s noggin.

Comfortably ahead on the scorecards, Bojado seemed happy to settle for a decision, Castaneda needed a knockout to win and he went after his adversary, which left him open to a Bojado left hook that sent him to his knees.

Referee Bobbie Ferrara failed to order Bojado to a neutral corner and Bojado unladed a right left combination on his fallen foe. Castaneda got up at the count of eight and seemed to be out on his feet. Referee Bobbie Ferrara called time and penalized Bojado for the flagrant foul but the fight was as good as over. Bojado landed a barrage of punches punctuated by a leaping left hook that sent Castaneda crashing to the canvas, he barely made to his feet inside the count of 10 but the referee put a stop to the massacre at 1:30 of the tenth round.

After the fight Bojado commented, ?When he went down the first time, I waited for the referee to jump in and separate us; he failed to do his job, so I had to continue doing mine. That?s when I landed the two-punch combination. I had to finish the job. He is a very tough fighter; he can take a lot of punishment. He doesn?t simulate the style of Steve Forbes, but I needed to get some rounds under my belt to prepare me for September 15.?

Looks like Bojado's two illegal punches cost me a winner on the Over, I'll take a push but a win would've been nice as I had it straight and parlayed. Now my parlays are straight bets with heavy juice

I know I didn't post it this week but I took that wager on Wed for the max bet at Thegreek. I had a post all typed out, hyping that bet then before posting I realized Andrade had been stopped in his previous fight. Orig, I thought it was a tech dec, so I placed the wager with full confidence. I wasn't sure of the circumstances of the ko so I withdrew the post. I still liked the wager but I wasn't as comfortable hyping that one. I'm not the type that posts ONLY his wins, especially after the fact. Had I lost, I would have posted it.

Anywhos, I got absolutely BLUDGEONED in the stock market this week so the win was a nice turnaround. I'm hoping Forrest does the job tonight to make another good week. Being on vacation, those are the only 2 wagers I placed. GL

Do you know if the Bojado fight was close or one sided ?

From 15rounds...

The evening?s main event featured Bojado (18-2, 12 KOs) against Rogelio Castaneda (23-13-3, 8 KOs), in a 10-round tune-up fight intended to prepare Bojado for a September 15 bout with Stevie Forbes. Though Bojado won by a spectacular knockout at 1:30 of the final round, he did not do it easily.

Before the main event began, Bojado entered the ring wearing a Halloween mask and at least 12 pounds too many. Despite a lightning-fast start, Bojado?s want of conditioning became readily apparent towards the end of the first round, when his red-white-and-green mouthpiece began protruding noticeably.

Had Castaneda been more than a C level fighter, odds are that Bojado would have been in trouble by the middle rounds. From the fifth round onward, Bojado?s face began to swell and his chest heaved for air. In the 10th round, though, Bojado found his heart and felled Castaneda several times.

Afterwards, Bojado said of his evening?s work: ?The more rounds I got under my belt, the more experience I?ll have, and the better I?ll be prepared for September 15th.?

That may well be the case. Francisco Bojado has as much natural talent as any prizefighter in recent memory. His hands are super fast, and he has most every punch in the boxing lexicon. That written, Bojado?s flabby appearance and obvious lack of conditioning will continue to plague the young fighter until he finds a means of remedying these shortcomings.
