Ahhhh...like a pig in shit as the regular season starts for real.

The loss of betsmart is a real pain, but welcome aboard William Hill.
The sooner Sean Graham get their technology sorted out the better...66/1 Quigley a real gem.
Not sure about the status of Jim Thorpe this week, but he is down to play, and he has done well round here in strokeplay. He is top of the 2nd division of players for me, so why on earth Hills have him at 80/1 is beyond me. They limited the amount they would lay, but this price is weird...has he had an arm amputated?

Some huge prices around as seniors continue to be ultra competitive; Fernandez is getting on a bit, but he has only been outside top ten once in five goes, in various formats, 80/1 Sean Graham. Have also taken Hall at 80, and Tewell at 50 with them.

The performances of the rookies will have a crucial bearing on the season. Zoeller, Purtzer, and Crenshaw will all be watched very carefully, although Hills don't expect much from Crenshaw, listing him at 80....33 elsewhere

Gonna throw my hat in with ya all on the beards this year Clive.
Bets will be 1/2 unit win 1/2 place totaling 1 e/w all year.

@ Surrey
Jenkins 40/1
decent course form for odds
Gil Morgan 16/1
Bad course form for him but 16/1 odds higher than his break even odds for last year.

First round scrapped - everyone will start off scratch and down to a 36 hole tournament, interestingly Centrebet have just stuck up the prices they had before the start, will therefore add Quigley (was 3 under) at 50/1 and Eastwood - he was seciond here last year and was 3 under yesterday and won his first event in a 36 hole tourny (although then it was the last round cancelled) - I'll risk a few quid at 160/1

Final Update

Matchups: 2-0-1; +4.00 units

Tewell/Davis WON by 10
Quigley/Dougherty WON by 2
Wadkins/McCumber All Square

Outrights: 0-3; -3.00 units

Doyle 45th
Tewell 14th
Quigley 14th

This is one that got away. Good result on the matchups, but Quigley and Tewell were handily placed to secure at least top-5 finishes, but both dropped two shots down the stretch. Maybe if the event hadn't been reduced to 36 holes ....
