Well, I'm 1-0 (+1.01) in my league tips so far this year.....I'm saying that tongue in cheek...I know it means zip. Nonetheless, here's my play for the season finale which is played this Sunday.
Wests Tigers -3.5 (-103) vs North Queensland Cowboys
(At Pinnacle)
Tigers are on fire and deserving of favouritism. They are 11-2 in thier last 13 (Cowboys 8-5) and hold a 2-1 advantage in the 3 meetings between these two teams this year. Importantly, both times the Cowboys had to travel to sydney to play the tigers, wests ran out easy winners.Tigers were super impressive against St George last weekend, while I thought the Cowboys got off easy against a woeful Parramatta outfit, albeit they played well.
3.5 points isnt much to lay in rugby league, with a try worth 4 points. Both these teams are open attacking teams so the chances are fair that the margin will exceed 3.5 points.
Wests Tigers are young, strong, skillful and a better side than North Queensland. Hopefully they show it on Sunday.
cheers.
