Crucial game for Canberra. They are at home after a couple of tough away matches. Roosters are trying some new combinations this week. 2.5 points doesnt seem an unreasonable handicap.

2/ North Queensland +8.5 vs St George

Cowboys desperately need this. They are a fair team with their backs to the wall, and the 8.5 points looks OK in these circumstances.

3/ Brisbane +3 vs Manly
1 unit

I would expect a highly motivated Broncos team this week given they will be depleted by the Origin next week, and they face a tough run home.

Well at least one of us will be happy. My main bet is the Roosters +4.5 (TAB sportsbet). It fits a couple of my systems and my gut likes it too.
