UNLV -22 over Portland St
UNLV record at the Mack is outstanding.Only 7 losses in 5 yrs but Ats record is poor.
Spoon has 2 great gds in Banks and Hoya ex Hunter. They have speed and can fly.Johnson is the stud who led them in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, blackjack, and FT %.He was left off all the pre-season teams rankings. He's upset.
They have a good inside attack. The question is can they hit the jumper consistently. Lewis could answer that. They have 4 or 5 6'7 greyhounds everywhere.Juco players, returning players, red shirts, etc What they lack is a post player.Edwards might be the answer at 6'8,250.
Portland St beat Cal Northridge the other nite by 4.But they struggled and had 24 turnovers. They have only a few returning players.Ivey is solid and juco transfer Scott can play.
They have a new coach,8 new people on the team, lost their star player lyr and have to go run with the "greyhounds" of Vegas.Ivey is their star but Banks is one of the best defensive players in the MWest.Portland will have problems protecting the ball.
Like the Rebs -22

Can't do anymore games.Going to the Jets-Bills game.GL
Temple-Rutgers-lean towards RU but Chaney scares me.Temple lost Greer who held the ball 70% of the time.also lost Lyde and my favorite Rollerson.I'll miss Rolly-Polly.Temple at home has a poor ATS record.Rutgers can't win on the road.felt so bad how they fell apart vs NC.
But Walters has gds.He is 5 or 6 deep.Small play with rutgers. But like UNLV a lot
