I've eaten quite a few burgers from surrounding restaurants and I just cant understand the fried egg on burgers. The egg yolk is messy, the flavor isnt that great. I dont get the appeal.

I like burgers with fried eggs over easy, but on a plate, not eaten like a hamburger. Very tasty that way.
No way. When I want a good burger, just mustard, ketchup, onions for this guy. I don't get the fad.

I like it.... egg yolk need to be positioned in the face of the burger for proper dripage.... also the egg isn?t there for flavor as much as it?s there for a velvety rich texture.... have you ever had a brunch style burger ? Fried egg.... bacon.... hash browns..... cheddar cheese smothered in sausage gravy on brioche? Yup...
