don't quite have a play here as much as an unanswerable question - how can a team in as much disarray as the mountaineers lay points to any credible big east team? gale catlett gives all appearances of a man without a clue, and reading most of the w va press and forums makes it sound like the lynch mob is out gathering rope. some reports suggest its possible hargett may return today but little chance he could be effective at all. can anybody make a case for the mountaneers?

Was going to open up a new thread, hope you dont mind my question here as well loop. WV typically has a huge homecourt advantage with its wild fan support. With the Steelers game going at about the same time, and WV not playing up ta snuff, will the fan support be as strong???? Rather have my WV $$$ being backed with a full gym.

Vegus doesnt' make many mistakes, can'give you only one reason, REVENGE, obviously i don't know the conferece like i do SEC or the OVC, if WT Vir has any balls left, i think they would get up pretty good for this game. Rutgers has lost their last three road games by double digits and thumped West Vir by 13 10 days ago, i don't think it's a question of whether they can beat rutgers, i think it a question of whether they WANT TO. Obviously they have fallen on hard times, having not played since wednesday they should have had several Players only meetings(of course i don't know this) Rutgers is only 2-6 on the road SU, 2 is not that big of # to cover, i personally will bet them but only small, no more than 1 unit. I smell a trap, i woudn't be suprised if they don't take some of their frustrations out on Rutgers.
