I know there's been probably tons of threads on this guy this season, but what the hell is this guy still doing in the closers roll for the Cubs??? Seriously??? All he has done is blow saves and get rocked every 9/10 times he takes the mound....I just don't get why managers keep going with the same guy over and over and over again. I understand pitchers have their bad days, but with Dempsters situation that's just plain ridiculous. I'm sure they have someone better in the pen or in AAA....I didn't wager on the Cubs today, but I saw the stats and just couldn't believe once again this guy blew another game.....

Just wondering if part of the problem is, with the Cubs being so bad, that the save opportunities are so far and few between, that maybe it is hard to stay sharp and to get into any kind of a groove :shrug: Whatever, the Cubs just stink all over right now. I don't think you will see Dusty much longer, especially if the Sox beat them again tomorrow :sadwave:
