Gamecock Injury update:
INJURY UPDATE
Two of South Carolina?s post players were injured in the win over Colorado State Saturday with one?s status remaining in doubt for Monday?s contest. Junior center Tony Kitchings suffered a grade two concussion late in Saturday?s game and did not practice Sunday. His status for the game is questionable/doubtful. Sophomore forward Rolando Howell suffered a bruised sternum early in the second half of Saturday?s game, but the Columbia native was a full-go at practice Sunday and looks to make his seventh start of the season against the Friars.
T.K.'s injury will hurt the Gamecocks in the front court. How much remains to be seen. They still have Ro Howell and Marius Petraviscious to bang underneath.
T.K. is first on the team in FG% (.559), second on the team in rebounding(6.0), first on the team in blocked shots (0.7), and sixth on the team in scoring (7.0).
I'll try to post as soon as I get his final status.
