Sac Kings to Seattle?

If this sale goes through from the Maloofs to the Seattle group for 1/2 billion bucks, that's a bargain in today's sports world!! Granted the Kings are not the Dodgers or Yankees, but an NBA expansion franchise would go for for at least 250K!! I wonder if Seattle would get to keep the Sonic name since OkC didn't take it with them? I believe I read somewhere where the name "Super Sonics" would stay with Seattle if they got an NBA team again.

Glad the Maloofs are getting out of the game and too bad Sac City couldn't do more to have a team stay there. Times are a changin!!

It will be great to here the name "Super Sonics" again! LOL But then again, this could all be pre-mature, since the owners would have to vote a yes on the sale and approve a relo to Seattle.

Well, all the Seattle fans will be happy as hell if this does happen. Unfortunately, one or maybe two of the greatest players who should be in Sonics colors are in Thunder uniforms. Had the Sonics still been around, they would have had a final against the Heat. The new franchise is going to be bad for a while. And it does not look like we'll see a class of good players for a while.
