I saw the preview for the next Real Sports on HBO talking about Cecil Fielder being financially destitute and hadn't heard anything about it. I did a search and found this article regarding his current situation. He did it to himself, but I still feel for the guy.

No doubt Chopsticks, definitely feel for the family as well, in fact, even more as you said. Couldn't imagine going from living the good life in that phat house to having nothing at all. Especially since they didn't have a clue about what was going on w/ Cecil.

The thing that blows me away is how he could go from multimillionaire to not having anything financially to show for his long MLB career.

Obviously, this is the extreme of chasing and poor money management.
