What are the chances Saddam has a strange illness before or during trial. You have to wonder how many countries. Such as Russia, France, even the good old USA. Just don't want him getting chance to spew his info on how they help him be the monster he was.

Absolutely. Saddam actually going to trial is the very last thing we, or anybody else except for the Iraqi people, wants.
What's wrong with bringing the guy to trial so everybody can say what's on thier mind and the truth can be sought out?
If the actual truth comes out and if that scenario leaves us with egg on our face, then who are we to blame?
Will the truth actually hurt?
Do we have anything to hide?
