Bush signs new law to build 700 miles of new fence along Mex border. Only problem. Borders is 2000 miles long. Held this one on his desk for last three weeks. Just a campaign stunt.

Congress just forwarded it to his desk yesterday, from what I here. Although there are no provisions to pay for it. That has to come in another bill, so in essence, 2,000 would be great, 700 would be a good start, 0 miles of fence is what we'll actually get.
How very true this statement is. I am going to try to find the article I can't remember if it was on the Internet or if it was in one of my Exotic Animal Magazines. It told how one Exotic animal rancher down by Brownsville (I think) put a ladder up so the Mexicans would climb over the fence instead of cutting it.
i would think that an engineer already has plans for a fence that is pretty much full proof to do these type of things. then again cutting off cheap labor is not an idea a republican likes. So maybe the fence looks like a giant ladder. Its amazing its been 5 years since 9-11 and we are still talking about our borders. Good grief
