We?re excited to announce that the last private discounted phase of the SALT Community Membership Sale will begin on Tuesday, August 15th at 8:00 AM MST (2:00 PM GMT)! Some important notes:
Your place in line to become a member is displayed in your Dashboard.
We will be approving new participants to purchase memberships in the order they signed up and at a pace that can be handled by our system, as well as the Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains.
SALT Membership may be purchased with Bitcoin, Ethereum, or any cryptocurrency supported by ShapeShift.
The Membership discount will run until 10:00 AM MST Tuesday, August 22nd or until the following are sold out:
2.0 million SALT @ $3
1.5 million SALT @ $5
1.0 million SALT @ $7.50
In the event that purchases exceed the available inventory of discounted Membership, an additional 25,000 SALT Memberships will be available at the full retail price of $10.
Holding a place in line does not guarantee that a discount will be available when you are approved. Unfortunately, if the Memberships are sold out before you are approved you will have to wait until we start selling at the full retail price. Retail sales will begin after the audit and distribution of the discounted Memberships.
The participation and feedback from the SALT Community has been crucial to our development, and we view you all as a part of our team. We couldn?t have built such a robust community or grown so fast without your help on our Slack and Telegram channels, as well as the excellent content that has been independently created by active members. This document contains an in-depth explanation of the SALT Lending Platform, how Blockchain-Backed Loans? work, and details on the mechanics of SALT Membership. We strongly recommend that you thoroughly read this document as well as the Membership Agreement.
Referral Bonus Program
Instead of engaging in a traditional marketing campaign for the Community Membership discount, we have decided to fund an incentivized referral program. Going forward, you will be awarded one (1) bonus membership for every friend that purchases at least 30 memberships using your referral link. Priority access will be given to members with a high number of referrals.
Your unique referral link to share with your friends is:

For each friend you refer that buys thirty (30) SALT Memberships or more, you will receive one (1) bonus SALT Membership.
Your friends must use your referral link and create a profile in the same web session in order for you to receive your bonus SALT Membership.
An additional 100 bonus memberships will be awarded to the top 10 referrers from now until the end of the Community discount, based on total value of purchases made using each referral link.
There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer.
Referral bonuses will be credited to your account after the audit is completed.
Past referrals will be included in the bonus program.

Unfortunately, we can't guarantee payout on every account you refer but we make a good faith effort to do so whenever possible. In addition, SALT reserves the right to change the terms of the referral program at any time due to changing market conditions, risk of fraud, or other reasons. By participating in the referral program you acknowledge that receiving a bonus is not guaranteed by SALT. SALT retains ownership and exclusive rights over the membership referral data.
