Outright plays (1.5 units):

Grace Park to win 12/1 e.w. @ SkyBet, Stan James and Paddy Power
Park finished one shot too many last week, but it still maintained her incredible run of competitiveness - 6 top-3 finishes in her last 12 starts. Against a very much smaller field, there is every reason to expect her to be in the top-3 again this week.

Juli Inkster to win 20/1 e.w. @ SkyBet, and Paddy Power
Can't understand why she is priced so high in a 20-player event. She may missed the cut and finished 14th in her two starts in the last month, but she was also joint-top U.S. points winner in the Solheim Cup last month and had won twice and finished in the top-10 in eight of her previous ten starts before September. Plus, she has three of the last six Samsung World Championships and they have all been on different courses so she really should be at lower odds.

Rosie Jones to win 33/1 e.w. @ SkyBet,
And so should Rosie Jones. Her only win in this event was back in 1988, but she has been extremely competitive since she won the Asahi Ryokuken International in May - outside the top-15 only once - and she did win the last LPGA Tour event to be played in Texas - the 2001 Kathy Ireland Championship. She has shown that she can still win and she should go close.

Matchup plays (1.5 units unless stated):

Rosie Jones to beat Hee-Won Han -111 @ Centrebet
Backing Jones for a big week. She would have struggled to match Han had this event been held a month ago, but Han has not been particularly impressive since the LPGA Tour season reconvened after the Solheim Cup break. In her two events, she has finished 17th and 63rd. She also only finished 15th (of 20 players) in her debut in this event last year so Jones should certainly prove a strong opponent.

Rosie Jones to beat Candie Kung -133 @ NordicBet
Similar story here. Kung finished 1st, 1st and 2nd in the three events before the Solheim Cup and has since missed the cut and finished 19th. She is also making her debut in this prestigious event and having lost her momentum, she could struggle in this rarefied air.

Angela Stanford to beat Hilary Lunke -167 @ Expekt [3 units]
A rare opportunity to oppose Lunke. Since winning the U.S. Women's Open in July, she has played in eight events, finishing 64th once, 70th once and missing the other six cuts. There is no cut to miss this week, but the pressures of being the national champion have been too much for her game and these high-profile events are not what she needs. She might be able to regroup over the winter for the new season, but will always be opposed from now until then.

Stan check out 365 they lined several matches that look appealing especial one on Rosie;)
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Two ladies playing in mens events this week.
Jan Stephenson on the beards tour
Lara Davies on Korean tour

I'D make over/under par prop on Jan @ +20

and whiles Davies has dropped down to the 5000 claimer ranks on mens tours and outweighs most opponants by 30 lbs I still don't think we have a lady break par let alone make cut this year.

Davies I don't feel sorry for however I do for Jan. She is a princess and is trying to get a little exposure for womens senior tour however this will be very tough track for her--long and lots of wind.

Sheez Espn hardly showed park at all yesterday despite being in contention:cry:

Can't believe PML made it walking 36 yesterday-she's getting big-bet she got some tired feet today ;)

Is Mallon, Calc's twin sister:confused:

Davies didn't remotely come close to cut or breaking par on Korean tour. Next stop the Fiji Junior Inv. If they get free pass:)

---Jan Stephenson has more worrys than trying to bust 80 on next rd after comments on Asians on LPGA. Can't believe she said that can you Clive.

Hmmm This will prove quite interesting and will see what the press says.
Have seen replay and she obviously addressed ball on putting green but says she did not ground putter-didn't look that way to me or those those announcing but possible was also guestion on fixing mark on next hole the 15th. No player was aware including Sophie that they would have her view tape before signing card at conclusion of tourney.Quite odd?
Now where I think this will get quite interesting. Since Sophie is dating the LPGA commisioner were the officials intimidated on making right call???? Could see some hair flying over this is over :D

Doesn't help me any, but I hope she still gets the win :)

Final update:

Matchups: 2-1-0; +2.84 units

Jones/Han LOST by 1
Jones/Kung WON by 7
Stanford/Lunke WON by 6

Outrights: 0-3; -4.50 units

Park 7th
Inkster 6th
Jones 14th

The outrights look as if they were in contention, but they rarely were. Inkster was best-placed at four shots out a place win. The losses on the outrights would have been covered by the matchups, but Jones bogeyed the last hole to lose the match to Han. Now there's a three-week wait and trip to South Korea before amends can be made.

LPGA Tour ytd
Matchups: 46-34; +19.02 units
18-holes: 40-33; +4.42 units
Outrights: 11-58; -40.08 units

I thought it would Clive.--but this havoc with Stephenson and now Sophie will be getting lots of press and I believe that headlines good or bad will in the end boost LPGA exposure.
--on Sophie I Like Stan am glad she won. In part I am sympathetic because of speach impediment and I like the way she carries herself---and on the grounding issue I think we must take her word as no one but her is for sure if putter was soled or hovering a fraction of inch off the ground.
