The only reason this team could possibly be such a big underdog is that it is preseason and the starters will see limited action. It always makes me weary when the line moves so much. This did not matter in the GB / AZ game or the Pitt/Ne game. so I am going to disregard it in this game. This San Fran team could really jump out early and take a commanding lead and their defense is nothing to snicker at. This is a very good San Fran team that will play their best game tonight so far in this preseason. These guys will be contending for the NFC championship.

San Fran +6

Hopefully the explosion occurs in the first half with Garcia. Unfortunately the 9er backup QB's are not much to talk about. I think the first half will be exciting. I will be watching the defenses. This might be a close contest the first half:)

Well it didn't go exactly the way I thought it would. If anything their was a defensive explosion rather than an offensive one. I am not a San Fran fan but I think these guys could win a lot of games this year with that defense I saw last night coupled with their already potent offense. Terrel Owens is going to have a great year barring any injuries or personality conflicts. He is one of the best I have seen. Well any ways a win is a win and I will take it.

yes...agreed.. a win is a win. The game was definitely different than i expected. Much lower scoring (even though i had the under) Yes.. Owens is an exciting player with so much upside. It remains to be seen if they can challenge the Rams consistently.

Anyway.. we will find out...
