I love the Bay Area. There's Artichoke Joes Card Room in South San Francisco near the airports. There's Lucky Chances Casino in Colma, There's the Oaks Club in Oakland. San Pablo is north of there in Richmond. Down in San Jose there are two card rooms -- Garden City and Bay 101. There's California Grand over east of Oakland. I hear there is a big orange bridge and some other stuff to do in San Francisco, too.

:)

PS -- Seriously, the neatest area is just north of the Golden Gate bridge, where you go off to the left up a small hill. There is an abansoned fort there. Take the road and stand on top of that hill overlooking the bridge. It's incredible. From there, drive north on Highway 1 up about an hour north. Incredible drive.....completely natural land (undeveloped) and incredible ocean views. From there, cut across back through the national forest (I think the cutoff is in Pelaluma). Then, you can get back to the city. Also, take one of the $15 ferry rides out into the Bay. The ferry takes you from the Pier to under the bridges. You will see lots of wilds seals out on the pier sunning themselves.

other than the must of riding the cable cars, walk the Golden Gate Bridge and visit the park there, and spend a lot of time in Chinatown. I absolutely love Chinatown, shopping, eating, and trying to dicker them down on prices. It's a beautiful city, and u will have fun.

SF is one of my favorite cities in the country.

A place that I highly recommend for entertainment is a show in the northern part of the city.Beach Blanket Babylon is a comedy that satire's the news.It has been playing for about 25 years & the city even named the street outside the theater after the show.Inside the seating is rather quaint & sit arond a table with waiter service for drinks.I was there during the Monica scandal & the show was hilarious. After the show we walked to an Italian Rest.,that was excellent.Unfortunately I cannot remember the name.
If you are interested in seeing this show I would recommend that you call them immediately & reserve your seats because of the popularity of the show. You won't be sorry!

I also liked driving around SF.Make sure you drive down Lombard Street. There is also the Presidio area that gives you a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

If you like walking try Muir Woods. The size of the trees are enormous.
If you are a member of AAA,you can get a book on SF.

Enjoy the trip.
