I really Like San Jose st -6 1/2 against SMU....... SMU is one of the worst teams in the country. Any comments would be appreciated as to whether you think I am right or Wrong......Thanks.

i saw both play on saturday and sj st. will easily cover. they have a clear advantage in speed on both sides of the ball. you can see smu getting better on defense but new coach doesn't have the players yet... offense is predictable and unimaginative.
He has the same players who were good enough to beat SJ State in San Jose last year. Whether the guy can coach is another story. Be careful laying points on a road favorite that was a home dog to the same team the previous year.

every week when the lines come out, one of the first things i do is go throught them and circle a bunch of ugly-ass home dogs for further consideration. this week it was mo, rice, buf, ball st, ark st, n tex and smu. i usually end up playing close to half of them. i agree smu could win outright; don't know yet if i'll end up playing the mustangs or not (unless the line goes to 7) but i'm sure i won't be playing sjst.
