Hey guys,

As promised, here I am. Im up 6400 with 9-1 record so far on sides and props however I will start from 0-0 and $0,00 for easier tracking purposes (watch me go on a cold streak now, hahah). Im about to go for a meeting at 9am (which willl make me miss the 1st half for sure) so I will be back later with the Czech and Italy games.

As for the Australia vs Japan, thats a very hard match to cap by simply taking sides. Australia is led by a very respected dutch coach while zito is not to be underestimated either with his defensive approach for the japanese. I watched both of these teams in the preliminaries and they both impressed me with how much they improved in the last years. in the last 10 wins between these sides they split them at 5-5 with the last 3 goin the japanese way (useless stat, by the way).

I will go with

Australia -130 at PK, eliminating a very good chance of a tie 1300/1000 since i give australia a bit of an edge in this game

Also, -130 for Under 2.5 as I dont see either one of these teams exploding but rather playing very defensive soccer. well take this for 650/500

Be back a bit later with the next game, good luck everyone and too bad my first capping had to be a random game such as this one with sides that no one ever follows.

Good luck

What horrible horrible soccer these 2 teams play. That goal was...i dunno what to say, thats the beauty of sports and gambling, anything can happen.

Anyways, I hedged this bs at halftime as my lesson never to bet on useless games that are nothing but a coin toss.

2H Japan 1000/1700 at Betcris

Still looking at the picks for the next game, but one stands out as a value pick right away.

Czech Ht/Czech FT +2500

Juicy, wouldnt u say so? If czech R. scores the first goal, youre pretty much guaranteed that to go through.

So the hedging wasnt such a good idea afterall, if should of trusted my instinct, but who cares, we keep goin

Win on Australia + 1000
Loss on Japan 2H -1000
Loss on Under -650
Total : -650

Let me do some more research before the next game, but a small unit will definitely be put on +2500 on Cz ht/ft, clear value in that

Thanx wise

Today seems to be a pretty tough day for capping, almost better goin for small parlays then large straight bets.

Czech R - USA (Noon ET)

Lineups:

Czech R
Cech - Grygera, Rozehnal, Ujfalusi, Jankulovski - Poborsky, Galasek (C), Rosicky, Nedved, Plasil - Koller

USA
Keller Kasey (GK), Mastroeni Pablo, Cherundolo Steve, Lewis Eddie, Reyna Claudio (C), Convey Bobby, Beasley DaMarkus, MC Bride Brian, Donovan Landon, Onyewu Oguchi, Pope Eddie

Many people are expecting a surprise from the USA team (Ranked #5 in the world) but I dont see it. I mean, it depends how italy ends up playing today (if they lose and tie this group becomes quite complex), but I dont see USA as a favourite for any spectacular achievements. Donovan Landon is a very solid player and Beasley is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaast, other that that (maybe also to mention mcbride), they are weak.

Czech team is quite old, but this is the last chance for this generation to prove that they still have it, especially against a team like USA (who is not to be underestimated, dont get me wrong, but look who they play for their FIFA ranking points?). Their coach has an attackin mentality (which i absolutely adore) and it blends quite nicely with the style of play that Nedved, Koller and Poborsky are used to. The bad news for the Czechs is the fact that Milan Baros will be injured for this game, however their midfield is full of quality players and they should still handle the ball well.

Czech injuries shouldnt cause too much worry since they played w/o nedved throughout the qualifiers and did just fine.
USA in their last couple of games looked very weak and unorganized, especially in the midfield area, which is why i have to give an edge to the Czechs.

Now lets get to business:

Czech R. HT/FT 100/2500
Tremendous value in this pick, not something I would take for a 1000, but the odds of that happening are not that impossible

Czech R +110 (just got that line on betcris) 500/550
No huge value in this game even though i see czechs as superior

Woooooooow, i just as i thought, that +2500 on czech r. ht/ft was their mistake since now thats what they offer for czech r ht/usa ft and Czech ht/ft only +185

however, under my bets i still see

6/12/2006 9:00 AM USA VS CZE HALFTIME / FULLTIME PROP
[29955] CZECH REPUBLIC HT/CZECH REPUBLIC FT ML+2500 100/2500

does that mean its still valid for me since it was offered at that price, regadless it was obviously a mistake on their part?

Hahahaha, who is this joker? Dream on buddy, it went thru, nice try though.

I played italy too but i forgot to post it..

so update:

-650
+2500 on the Czech ht/ft prop
+550 on the Czech money line
Total for the day: +2400
if i combined 1000 on italy from today and my previous 6400 that would make 9800 so far for the cup
but oh well, well keep it at 2400, keepin it strictly for posted picks

S. Korea 1100/1000

there will be more.

REmember, this is a contraversial match and s. korea has never played an african country, hard to cap.

Ok a quick writeup.

S. korea already hosted/appeared at the world cup while its Togos first. Korea has more experience on the international level, while Togo has barely any, due to its political situation and internal problems. S. korea is stickin with the dutch coaches (so far the dutch coaches are showing to be a good catch), making the semis with hiddink and trying the not so impossible now with Advocaat. France and the Swiss are the favourites to get out of the group so if they want to have any chance of making it, this is a must win or they can pack their bags and go home by noon eastern.

Togo has huge internal problems, players even wanted to leave this World Cup because their government failed to pay the bonuses to the players for qualifying into the World Cup. The coach of the team, Pfister and his assistants left the training camp and resigned from the coaching job. It is very hard to play with this kind of things going in the locker room and I believe that Togo will not take a single point in this group.

Quality wise, S. Korea as not as great as many think but has better quality as a team than Togo, who heavily depends on 110% performance of their only top player, Adebayor of Arsenal (who is by the way hated by the team for many other contraversies that you can read on the net if u guys really want to).

All this being said, it sounds like S. Korea is a lock, but this is the World Cup and nothing is guaranteed, expecially with inexperienced countries such as these two.

Ill stick with the aformentioned pick for this game.

good luck boys
