4-1 +6.9 units

Tech +5 2 units

I may add more to this later but just not sure where the line will go so I'll take this while I can get it. I have a lot of reasons to play on Tech this weekend and might make them another big play this week. For now to keep it simple, they play OU very well. They're 4-3 the last 7 vs. OU and OU hasn't won in Lubbock since 03. IMO Tech has a better run D than OU. OUs D gives up 4+ on the ground and Tech is averaging over 5+on the ground. At home I expect Kenny Williams to get a lot of carries. He's a bruiser and will set the stage for wearing down OUs D in the 2nd half.

Tech is VERY healthy for this game. For the first time in the Tubs era the Tech fan base is feeling good about the team. I think Jones Stadium is going to be very rowdy this Saturday.

More to come on this game but this is what I had time for.

Iowa State +11.5 1unit

I like Iowa State here because I think their D can keep TCU to the low 20s and maybe even under 20. The problem is that ISUs offense isn't very dynamic. The under here might look VERY good. Hoping I can get a good number on it.

Until TCU can fix their offensive woes, the under will be a good play every week. The defense is getting better every week, but won't really know anything until they play Baylor.

On a personal level, they can keep winning ugly all the way as long as they win.

Great point on the under with this game. I saw a good chunk of the TT/ISU last week. Like layinwood said, ISU lacks alot on offense. Their QB is either lights out or struggles like hell. GL

Under TCU ISU 45.5 1unit

Neither have good offenses and are good on the defensive side. This game has 17ish-10ish written all over it.

ISU looked horrible on offense Saturday vs Tech. One TD was scored by their D off an interception and the other TD was really their only sustained drive. In that drive they were fortunate enough to convert a 3rd and 20. If not for that conversion then they wouldn't have scored 1 offense point. Now they go on the road to face a good defensive team. I know I have ISU covering in this game but IMO if they score 10 it will be a lot for them. I like them to cover because IMO TCUs offense is struggling and has too many youngsters playing. I doubt they find their groove vs. a solid ISU defense. I was VERY impressed with ISUs LBs. Those guys cover the whole field and tackle with bad intentions.

Unless there are some bad turnovers then it should go under.

TCU's OL couldn't run block against KU, couldn't pass block against Va, and couldn't do anything against SMU. QB and receivers are great, but nothing else is on offense at this time. I believe TCU will win, but it could be by 10 or less points.

Maybe the new chrome helmets will make the OL block better and make the offense not fumble.

Joe, the ISU LBs are stout. I enjoyed watching them play. I think you'll be plenty tired of them by the end of the game.

I'm going to check the TV menu for the Big 12 No Huddle replay of the game. I want to check them out.

Jord, I don't know what to think. Tech didn't come out with any passion vs. OU. OU was ready to play and showed it.

As far as traps go this is a great situation to back Tech. WVU off of the game against UT and next week at home vs. KState playing on the road vs. a team that looked very ba.

The situation and line scream out for a play on Tech but I don't think I can do it. Something is missing with their offense. Either Neil Brown isn't a good play caller or Seth Doege just doesn't have "it". I actually don't think the D played that bad but got hung out to dry by the offense. I'm not saying the D played good but it wasn't as bad as the score indicated.
