I could just ramble on & on about each pick, but I don't want my fingers to fall off.....here's just a brief explanation for each:

Georgetown -15.5 over West Virginia......Is it just me or does this game say "Blow-out" written all over it??? W.V. will only have one shot at the basket on each possession. I love the way Gtown bangs the boards, they will dominate inside and outside. Gtown has hard time against good teams, but they hammer the mediocre ones. They just beat Syracuse by 15 in their last game, they shouldn't have a problem against W.V. Unless W.V. can shoot a very high percentage, which most likely they won't, Gtown will run away with this one.

Ohio st -13 over Northwestern........Northwestern is not bad, but Ohio st a class above them. Ohio st is by far the best team Northwestern has faced this year on the road. From the get go, they won't know what hit them. Ohio st beat Nc st, Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois at home already, Northwestern will first be overwhelmed and then steam rolled. Unless Ohio st take this game for granted, they should blow them out the building.

Kentucky -10.5 over South Carolina........Two words: Bogans & Prince. They will be smokin the rims!!! Never since Cheech and Chong was a combination that can light the building up. South Carolina is good, but they lost at home to Vanderbilt for goodness sake!! Can someone say inconsistent!! I love the Wildcat Defense and rebounding. Add in the homecrowd and S.C. will be shell shocked. Only thing that may not make this game ugly for South Carolina is Ashley Judd.

SMU -3.5 over Louisiana Tech..........Louisiana Tech has had surprising victory at Fresno recently. And then they go and lose to centenary. You never know what Louis tech team will show up, but I feel SMU takes a lot of momentum into this game. Homecourt will be huge. Lightning won't strike twice on the road for Louis tech.

Kansas -17 over Colorado.........Bottom line, if Kansas doesn't take this one for granted, it will be total destruction. This game could be a blow out by the half, but I don't trust taking the half time play, u never know if a team will come out flat, but I doubt they will end the game flat.

Texas +1.5 over Oklahoma..........This game is going to be exciting to watch. Both teams with exellent pt guards and can bang inside. Since this game is in Texas, I'm going with them. Note: Watch for Texas homecourt refs helping the longhorns out on this one. This will be a really physical game, and we know the calls are going Texas' way. Hey, it worked for the patriots, why not the longhorns.

Minnesota +2 over Indiana........this will be another war. This game won't be won because of who's more talented, but who will dig deeper and does those little things, like saving the ball from going out of bounds, tipping the ball to get an extra possession, hustle and who just wants it more.........gotta go with the home team to get that extra boost from the homecrowd.

Oregon -5.5 over USC.........Oregon is exceptional at home. They kicked Pepperdine, Ariz st, Ariz, Stanford, and Ucla's butts on their home floor. This team is more powerful on their homecourt than the football teams homefield. Oregon could runaway with this one too. The way Oregon beats teams at home, i don't mind laying the chalk against almost any team in the nation.

Stanford -7.5 over Arizona.......Maybe I should have waited for this one, I figure the line may go down since Arizona just went into Cali and beat them and Stanford did not handle Ariz st like they were supposed to in their last game. However, I think Stanford will learn from that and they won't have a let down for this game. I think Arizona will have a let down, thinking they have reached their goal in winning atleast one game on this two game road trip.

Tulsa -14 over Nevada........Tulsa just had an off game agaisnt Hawaii, but they won't take anymore games for granted. Tulsa is an excellent free throw shoooting team, which will enable them to hold or extend their big lead at the end of the game.

Utah -13.5 over Colorado st........Missmatch, Utah is a very underrated team. This team is really good. They are steam rolling over teams in their conference. They beat Texas and New Mexico on the road. The one thing I worry about is that they may take this game for granted because they are on a looooong 12 game winning streak. However, the missmatch is so great, I'll lay the pts.

New Mexico -4.5 over San Diego st.........I always worry if the home team will take the weaker team for granted at home, but I don't see it here, especially for the fact that New mexico is third behind Utah and wyoming in the MWConference and need to win to stay in the race, not to mention staying in range of an atlarge bid.

Hawaii -10.5 over Utep.......went against Hawaii and the infamous late night posse Thursday night, but this time I am going with Hawaii. I hope the consensus is with Hawaii once again, now that i am picking them this time. Hawaii was complacent and sloppy against Boise st, and it was a tougher game than what it supposed to have been, but I feel they have learned from that and it was a wake up call, they will, this time, come out firing more and this team has excellent shooters and should light it up now. I feel Hawaii was still thinking about the Tulsa game which they carried to the boise game, but I feel it has finally gone away and now they can focus into this game. Utep is better than Boise st, but Hawaii will be ready to go this time. This Hawaii team will be much different from the lack luster team they were on Thursday I feel. Hawaii could jump into the Top 25 with a win here.

Lewey........Gtown and Ohio st choked!!!! About Hawaii, unlike Thursday, they will be fired up tonight.

I'm confident I'll come out ahead overall. Kentucky just came thru for me. Lot more games to go everyone!!!

You think Arizona will be content with winning one game on their road trip?!?! Guess you haven't heard about the Stanford/Arizona rivalry that has developed over the past few years. . . ASU is not Arizona's rival nor is UCLA. . . it's Stanford and no Arizona is not content with a split.

Nickel,
Maybe I shouldn't have said the word "goal." I had so much to write that I was just typing away relentlessly. I think Arizona, before going on this road trip, in their mind, was thinking, the worse thing they expect from this tough two game road trip is atleast a split. They want to win these two games, but since they won at California, it's not as urgent for them to win this one as much now, which makes me feel that the motivational factor has decreased on their side. On the other hand, Stanford's motivational factor has increased for this game because Arizona is ahead of Stanford in the conference. Ofcourse the homecrowd will be key. It will be more devastating for Stanford to lose this game than Arizona losing this game. Stanford will give a strong performance in this one, much more stronger than how they performed against Ariz st.
