this is a "double" play that you like alot....being that you posted it twice
........
have you heard anything on the manny pacquaio hepatitis rumor?.......
i took a shot with pacquaio/lucero under 7.5 at -160...i didn`t like laying those odds....lucero has an extensive,stellar amateur background.....he`s supposed to be very tough....but,his competition thus far has been sketchy at best....he was knocked down twice,and by all accounts almost out by mediocre frankie archuletta..and he`s been knocked down in at least one other bout....but he came back to win...i have been reading that lucero is an excellent body puncher..... and if he`s gonna go to the body,he`ll have to step inside,and if he steps inside,he`s gonna have to rumble with pacquaio...pacquaio is 5`6" tall...lucero is 5`4" tall....and pacquaio is a lefty...gonna be tough to just box pacquaio...he`s gonna have to stand in to score at his height....
but,i know this is a main events promotion.....lou duva is main events...and lucero is one of duva`s better prospects....they are fighting in l.a........that means that lucero,being mexican,has a huge advantage venue-wise...the crowd will be his....and i have to believe that duva believes that lucero has a shot...duva protects his fighters.... also it`s a a righty and a lefty....head butts are possible....pacquaio has had at least one fight stopped in his career due to cuts...
so,i slid over to pinnacle and put a little on lucero at +1000...these odds are considerably more substantial than anything else i`ve seen.....doesn`t take much of a wager to get a nice return on 10-1.......do i really think he beats pacquaio?.......probably not ....do i think it`s possible?.....maybe....at 10-1,with your people promoting the bout,in a friendly venue,that is basically a home court,it`s not impossible....if he doesn`t get taken out early and can extend this thing into the middle to late rounds,he might have a shot..he can go 12...he`s done it.... ...pacquaio doesn`t like going the distance.....he basically goes in to get his man out of there.....
if lucero chooses to run,i don`t think the mexican crowd that came to see lucero and vargas,will be very kind......most mexican fans are hardcore and expect their boys to come to fight....
i know that`s more than you wanted to hear....the other bouts this weelend look interesting,also......particularly sheika-pemberton and candelo-garcia....
some possibilities there.......g.l.,bud...

I figure i will win 1 out of 2 at least they were talking about the blood test the other day on al bernstein show out here and not heard anything else. looked at a few good boxing sites and no word:shrug: and vegas still has a line up.

this vargas under line(and the pacquaio under line ,now that i mention it)are dropping like turds from a tall cow`s ass......vargas is now at -135 at one book....pacquaio is now at -140.....
you think there`s any funny business going on here????
