I rather be at the Tex St game where there is me about 250 fans ,4 band members ,5 cheerleaders instead of 17,000 fans not wearing masks and welcoming Barnes back to Texas

and in the barnes story I know 1st hand the entire story because when Gordie was coaching at Manhattan before he went to Prov and was fired I hired his sister as an art teacher at my HS school . But things worked out for him since he became a player development coach in the NBA and an asst for over 10 years. .. anyway way to many games today.. ignore many but one might jump out at you
and my favorite Franchilla story is he coached at Manhattan and was very successful Then he became the St Johns coach and did so-so . But in the lockeroom at halftime with the Johnnies down he pulled his pants down and grabbed his balls and told his team " you guys have no balls" Only there were two priest from St Johns in the lockerroom . Can't remember if was fired right away or the end of the season. And he really dissed me at a clinic but is really a good play by play announcer for CBS or ESPN not sure .. good luck today
