Iona -8 over Fairfield *****
Pitino is going dancing again. He's been dancing a few times.. Thought last year he was dancing to " zorba the greek" But he found a surburban basketball team in New Rochelle named Iona .. about 90% of his recruiting was thru zoom . Iona lost over 2 months of playing due to the C-19. But today he goes against a bad Fairfield team that got hot and beat Manhattan,Monmouth and St peter . Think Fairfield beat Iona earlier in pre BC time or pre C-19 time. Pitino has had his troops practicing and are now peaking. Ross is the best player on the court today. Gist if you can find him or see him at 5'8 is a solid pt gd and knows his role Pitino has taught him. Joseph inside has made a huge difference in the paint. Stags have awaken somewhat but today they see a real defense that traps,pressures the ball ,etc Stags defense is bad. They give up 4 more pts on defense then their offense scores Thats trouble today. Iona avgs about 74 pts a game way below thier past teams but gives up an amazing 69 pts. The last time Iona played defense like that the " Dick Van Dyke Show" was being filmed in New Rochelle . Think Iona gets a double digit win today and Pitino would like to win big and shove it in everyones face. Think Rick is looking at the sweet sixteen and cutting the nest down here in Atlantic City. Plus Pitino I'm sure went this morning down to the Tropicana here and took the -8 and pounded it. So you know he will win and cover. If he gets caught again cheating he can always go back to Athens and coach there. And iona is a 9 seed.. But if you recall I did predict this and Played a prop bet that Iona would win the MAAC. Also have a prop bet on North Texas, Ohio St,Arkansas and USC all still alive in those did lose UTSA to win the Conf USA

I have posted so much stuff on Texas and they have probably the best talent in the entire country. But talent doesn't always win esp when your coach and team have a low basketball IQ. Although they have played better and smarter think Ok St with Cade will win this outright,. If Texas bought its entire A game they win but they can't. They will bring there A- game and Cunningham Boons Likelle will play like A straight players

Bassey,Bassey Bassey.. the 6'11 stud ,air Craft carrier But NT;s pt gd Hamleet is probably the best player in the USA conf .He did make 1st team and scores penetrates,rebounds play shut down defense. NT plays outstanding defesne. If 6'10 Simmons can neutralize Bassey somewhat NT wins and covers. I know I'm picking from my heart more then brains but I think the Mean Green are going dancing..
I am in Philly with my daughter and family.. going to the Philly zoo with my 2 grand children now so have no time .. Will be in AC for the march madness weekend Will miss my Vegas this year.
