Hudson Valley area.....NY
First off I had Hampton yesterday and they lost by 30 Great capping on my part..
Sun Conference Tournament.. seeing eye handicapping since I have seen almost everybody play Tex St this year from row 3 .
Love So Bama,So Miss and Marshall in Sun Belt. Think they are the best teams in the conference but today they go against each other.
So Bama +1.5 over So Miss **
Should pass on this game and to me its the two best teams in the conference playing each other in the semi
's I like the So Bama post player Samuel at 6'11 and 250 pounds he is a force in the middle Think he had 6 blocked shots the other night. So Miss pt gd Alvarez I loved. Crowley is the real deal transferring from old Miss I thought Haase and Pickney would be tough to stop. Like both teams a lot . should really pass on both teams today If I came back 2 hours later I probably would take So Miss. But their warm ups before the game looked liked pajama's that were stripped yellow and black I thought the Harlem globe trotters had better warm ups.

Drake -5 over SIU *** a sleeper team coming out of the MVC
North Texas -8.5 over WKU **
NT is no.1 in the nation on defense Beat WKU 70-66 away.. But are ranked 342nd on offense but its tournament time and Grant has his kids peaking right now.

Marshall -8 over Tex St **
Tx have Harrell who has awoken from his hibernating but Herd are loaded. Kinsey could be POY of conf. His partner Taylor is a tough 1-2 gd punch They beat Tex St 81-73 away . Texas other then Harrell has trouble scoring esp inside , Cuffman can hit any open jumper from row 6. Tex plays tough D but doesn't have enough offense to keep up with Kinsey and co .
MAAC tourney
Siena -4 over Peter **
Manhattan -2 over Mt St Mary **
Iona -7.5 over Rider ****

Ivy
Yale -4 over Brown **
Md Bac -7 over Suny Binghamton **
B-12
Kansas +3 over Texas *
Thought this game was going to be the B-12 showdown But Texas loss the other day gives Kansas the B-12 title regardless who wins today. I gave my ticket away to the game. Its senior day and with the transfers portals and NIL deals I;m not even sure who is a senior. With Texas having no hopes for the conf title they are looking for " resume points" seeding" momentum etc Kansas also has nothing to play for but seedings at the big dance. The headline in the Dallas Morning news today is " Texas has a lot to play for" Not sure and what is Kansas playing for. Both looking at No 1 or 2 seeds at the big dance I know Texas doesn't want to end their season on a 3 game losing streak . Texas weakness is inside the paint. I have said this from day 1 when Beard was coaching. They have 3 gds that can play with anybody Self has already said " he won't rest any players today and he does want to be No 1 seed but who knows what he is thinking at some point in the game He could be down by 5 or 6 points with a few minutes left and decides to give his bench some quality time Small small play on Kansas but will be cheering for the Longhorns
think I'm getting old . My wife and I babysat for my 2 granddaughters last night. before bed time grandpa played "hide go seek" with them. Well the 4 yr old Rosie hid so well that I couldn't find her Upstairs downstairs in the shower living room dinning room. After 10 minutes I yelled " I give up" She hid herself inside a couch in my sons office She got under the couches pillows and unless I sat on it I would never have seen her. When my son and his wife came home Rosie ran down stairs to see them She told my son : "it worked Dad Grandpa gave up. My son said he had planned it and the 2 of them rehearsed the hiding place. I told them that it wasn't fair to practice hiding from Grandpa. My wife looked over her shoulders and said to my son " its fair I have been hiding from your father for 41 years".
good luck today
