Still shooting some air balls...forgot to post another game that I lost
Texas St -15 over Hartford **
Went to the game and it was close through out until Hartford coach went to a 1-3-1 zone defense...Hartford was up by a pt or 2 and not one time did Bobcats get a clean look at a shot. then vs the 1-3-1 they worked the ball and got open 3's and shots.. the coach other then his zone was outstanding ..he lost everyone last yr and they were replaced by juco,grad transfers and East Europe ..there top 3 pt scorer was 6'10 and top inside player was 6'11...Texas played its tough man/man but had trouble with the big boys...
but thank god I forgot to post the game because if you had Texas -15 you lost..the reason why none of us are living on a beach in the Caymons is because of things like this ending...Tex up 18 pts with 1 minute and the ball...Tx turns it over and Hart scores..Its a 16 pt lead and Hartford should foul... time out Tex coach takes our Pearson there top player out so the small crowd can give him an applause..Kaspers substitutes a small gd who has never played one minute an inserts him...I know he is a lefty and a walk on player..on the inbounds they jump this kid and just swipe the ball from him... I need a foul to put the game away but Hartford who presses gets an open jump shot... Texas leads by 14 and Hartford allows Texas to dribble the clock out..everyone in San Marcus is leaving the stadium happy and Tex is 7-1...and I drive back to Austin and instead of stopping an eating at the Outback I drive thru a Sonic...going to skip hoops today playing Green Bay -6.5 over my Giants..I am not having dinner again at the sonic
