Texas -3 over Iowa St ****
Big game for the Longhorns...they broke there 3 game losing streak beating TCU by 1...Shacka has started to play uptempo and press and the Longhorns responded...Shacka loses this game he is out as a coach..even if he wins he is on thin ice..his team is so predictable and maybe they play some more 1/2 court offense instead of living on the 3...this is the worst Iowa St team i years... they are at the bottom of the B-12 in rebounding,3 pt shooting and a few other categories. ISU offense isn't to bad but defense is a problem ..Texas needs this because they go on the rd next week facing Kansas,then its Baylor and Texas Tech at home..think this is one of the few winnable games that is a must...
St Louie -7 over St Joes *****
this line seems way off.. Louie is tied with a few others for 1st place in the A-10..they have a solid offense vs Joes no defense..Joe is 4-17, and 2-7 at home..think the Billikens get a double digit rd win..you fired Martelli and are paying a price...
North Texas -7.5 over Rice ****
NT defense is solid and think with their gds the Owls will have trouble slowing them down...
UTSA -8 over Mid tenn ***
Again the 2 gds for the Roadrunners will be two hard to stop.. now if any other Roadrunner can score a few pts they win by double d's at home..

Texas St -9.5 over La Laf ***
Like this a lot.. Bobcats coming off a 20 pt win over UL Mon ..and there best player scored 5 pts ...defense and Pearson who last saturday broke the all time scoring record at tx St..unfortunately it went into his head and was 3-18 in his next home game..think today vs a Laf defense he goes back to normal..think Tx St which has been in the middle of the pack in conf standing puts its game in 5th gear..hate giving almost double digits to some other team but think Kasper has his kids playing lock down defense .
UTA -13.5 over Ul Monroe ***
Should have no excuse if I lose this game .. watched both teams in row 3 play Texas St this week.. UTA is the better over all team.. not sure about Warren who is in the doghouse with his coach but when it got down to the nitty gritty vs Texas Warren came in and won the game.. he also fouled a 3 pt shooter for a 4 pt play...but his court savvy and dribbling won the game after watching UL Monroe.. team fell apart..blaming each other in fighting,getting 3 or 4 techs..Ertel is a 6'1 lefty gd and does it all for them..can dribble,shoot and pass..he had 18 pts 1st half and 2 in the second half..one of there top scorers is out for the season so Ertel is almost their entire offense...UL has lost 7 in a row and UTA had won 3 in a row but was beaten on a controversial shot vs Laf by 1 ..

dog lover not sure which game I'm going to Texas is at 1 and Tx St at 4...I can tape the Iowa St game and watch the Tx St game in row 3..my daughters best friend and her husband flew in from NY for the weekend they are going to Salt Lick for lunch... so might skip Texas game,eat lunch at Salt Lick and take a back road to San
