---Hawksworth has looked pretty grim though the numbers don't really betray that--he's been wild which could be a problem here; Gorzelanny's been tough on lefties--certainly keeping the ball in the park--which should help with winds blowing out to right-center at 9mph...Pujols has smoked him but no current card has a career homer off of him
---Ubaldo's been brutal in two encounters--none in '010--and 4 of his last 5 have sailed over the total; Kendrick has been serving things up, especially to lefties...Seth Smith owns him (6 for 7, if whatchamacallit serves); wind L to R at 10mph
---Eddings ump'ing at Dodger Stadium and he sucks for overs otherwise hoppy
---Oswalt has great numbers vs and also at home; Cueto has been crap vs in 7, especially in 4 at Minute Maid (no '010), but he's been great lately; wind blowing in from right at 9mph and Brian Runge is a very good under-ump otherwise downing a 7 at MM is asking for trouble
(I've been trying to stick to side or total on a game, this year, but I have failed today)
---Sanchez has good numbers at home but this club is totally unpredictable; wind blowing in from right at 17mph, and Foster is an under-lean, but a 9 would cost me -147 (seeing 8.5 -113) and they did combine for 13 Friday
---Bumgarner has looked great and sf possesses the much better pen, which could be a factor as, while Kennedy has looked good his last 2--and threw 2 nice games vs this season (his only meetings vs)--his outtings have been very short; ump Carlson is a bit of an under-lean; roof was closed yesterday
---I'm done trying Matusz until next season, I think, and he had one poor vs in '09 and one dogshit vs this season, not to mention horrible numbers at home and lately; Baker has good numbers vs, especially with a beauty earlier this season (May 8th at home), but he's been shit on the road in 9 (1-6/6.66era/.321baa) and even worse in 4 of his last 5 (3 on the road--Mil,NYM,Tor)...he's still had good BB/K numbers but the long-ball is a nemesis and we should see winds blowing out to right at 10mph...he's given up 12 taters on the road in 51.1 IP (8 in his last 4 GS), though 0 at Camden in 15.2; ump Dreckman is even
---wind blowing out to right at 17mph at Progressive but Price should be right as he's served up 1 HR to lefties in his career including the big zero in '010; Talbot has been pretty good lately, though wild, but he hasn't lasted long and the Indians BP is a thing to not behold
---over-ump Holbrook going at Rangers Ballpark and Santana's numbers vs--especially in Arlington--are as bad as Feldman's this season; still, wind blowing in from right at 10mph and this series hasn't threatened an over yet...got away with murder, yesterday, not playing the home team over 5.5 or the runline...stuck with a couple of parlays and a 1st5
--Pauley facing his former team and I'd reckon that his decent numbers are an illusion; Lester has been great and the sox creeped a little closer to the wild card spot Friday, while the M's are still hitting like Mario Mendoza

Sure beats writing papers on the philosophy of mind for a dogmatic prof who contends that 'mind is culture.'
