YTD: 9-9 (-0.8)
Some looks for Saturday:
BUF@MON
-MON allowed their first Powerplay goals of the season last night after killing off 32 straight.
-Since last season the OV is 4-1 between these teams.
-The OV is 2-0 in BUF road games this season
-The UN is 4-0 in MON home games this season
-It's my guess that we *might* see Essensa start for the Sabres tonight. He has not started since Oct 7 vs. NYR in a game which was the second of consecutive nights, as tonight's game is.
-some conflicting stats and trends in this game but I like the OV or some reason:
leaning OV 5+100
ATL@CAR
-ATL Powerplay is succeeding 4% of the time so far this season!
-ATL Penaltykill at 88% ; CAR PK at 91%
-The UN is 4-1 in CAR home games this season
-...and the line is 6?? What the hell? Give me the under, please!
ATL@CAR UN 6-125
TOR@CLG
-The UN 2-1 between the teams last season ; both games in CLG went UN
- CLG has *major* injuries to their forwards: centres Savard and Shantz out and Niedermayer ques...also, Brad Warenka is gone from the defense due to head injury...CLG not a deep team at all, these injuries will really hurt their goal production.
-The UN is 4-0 in CLG home games
-TOR is 3-0 ATS on the road
-Love TOR to sweep the west...
TOR +100 ML & UN 5 +110
NYR@TB
-TB first game back after 2-2 road trip
- NYR pounded 43 shots at ATL on Fri night
-TB scoring percentage a laughable 6.8% on the season, even worse at home where only 3.8% of shots are going in. That is bad bad bad!
-The UN is 5-1 in TB games this season, 3-1 at home. The UN is 3-1 in NYR road games.
-TB has been outshot badly in *all* their games this season.
NYR -0.5+100
BOS@NSH
-BOS is averaging 35 shots per game!
-NSH has been outshot badly in their last games.
-BOS goaltending has been superb
-The UN is 3-0 in BOS road games this season
-The last 3 games between these teams have all gone UN.
-BOS still underappreciated: this team has turned completely around since the Bill Guerin trade lst season.
BOS ML -105
So, to recap here's what I am playing tonight:
ATL@CAR UN 6-125
BOS ML -105
TOR +100 ML & UN 5 +110
NYR -0.5+100
also
leaning to BUF@MON OV 5+100 - not a play yet.
Please share your opinions on these. I am feeling some really great vibes about this weekend in sports
It's going to be great. Hope everyone has a super Saturday!
