Ok once again its time for some NCAA Foots . Got a great game on the card tonight featuring California vs. Kansas St.

Kansas St return's a couple real big time play makers in El Roberson and Darren Sproles on offense and with a pretty solid group of wide recievers should be high powered once again this season. The offensive line looks solid again but had to fill a couple spots left open from last year so they may need a couple games to start to gel. This is the only on paper setback i can see for the K. St offense and its not a huge one. On the defensive side of the ball this Kansas St team still had one important thing "Speed". Kansas St lost alot of talent last year on defense but still retained some key players and just seem to be able to plug in more talent as they see fit. Snyder has done a great job bring in talent there and always finds speed on both sides of the bal. Another key to the game is always special teams and K. St has a great group of special teamers. They rank among the best special team units in the nation and again are very fast. There return game is excellent and should get them into some nice field position tonight and all season, they can also be counted on for a couple block's this season aswell.

California lost alot of talent last year on both sides of the ball. On offense they lost there 2 greatest playmakers in Boller and Igber and it will be very tough to replace these guys production. Cal will need to be able to run the ball this season to give new QB Roberston some time to get into a groove and get the offense together especially early in the season. On defense they lost lots and lots of players but im not so sure about talent as they were horrible on defense last season. I think the new younger players coming in can only improve on Cal's defense but as always with young guys it make take a few games or maybe even a season to see the improvements. Cal on special teams so far doesn't seem to be a great unit but doesn't look to hurt them either.

On paper this seems to be a "Huge" mismatch early on in the season as one team is lightning fast and very skilled against the other team which seems to be in rebuilding mode. If Snyder and K St comes out to impress and make an early season statement which they are known for this could get real ugly real fast. Always hard to lay so many points this early in the season as alot of teams are just adapting etc so gotta play it small either way. I can see Cal scoring some points tonight even though they are a bit overmatched as a whole but doubt they will be able to stay with the big guns of Kansas St. So here is what im playin , as always guys good luck ......
