2-3 -2.95 units

I can't seem to find my groove, hopefully this weekend turns it around.

WF+17 3units

I like Wake a lot in this situation. They have a great running attack and if they're going to catch Stanford in a good week this should be it. Off a conference road game and then on the road at Notre Dame next week.

Mich State -3 2units (bought half point)

Run, run, run and more running. Michigan State should run the ball successfully this week keeping the ND offense off the field. By the second half Mich St should be able to grind out the victory. Hoping an emotional loss last week sticks with ND this week.

Nebraska -3 1unit

Washington will have a tough time moving the ball up and down the field. I have a feeling this game will be close but 3 should be safe. If Neb had a better offense I would like this a lot more. Their QBs still have a lot to prove IMO.

Thanks LDB!

Adding

Texas Tech +3 1unit

I was thinking this line would be 5 and was suprised it opened at 4. I think we know what we'll get from the offense with Tech. Most of the key players are back from last year and with Potts having 1 more year under his belt I expect him to perform better than he did in Austin last year. The big question is Tech's d and how they'll attack Texas in this game. So far Willis has only showed a few of his blitz packages. The D looks a lot more comfortable in the zone scheme. The times they've played man to man they've given up some big plays and Texas has the horses to make them pay. I think Tech sells out to stop the run and make Gilbert beat them. I'm not sure this is a good idea but in all reality not many QBs have good days in Lubbock.

Player to watch-Harrison Jeffers

Harrison was out of the SMU game with a concussion but played some in the NM game. He won't see a lot of time at tailback because he makes too many mistakes when trying to pick up the blitz but Tubbs and Brown will find a way to get the ball in his hand. He's very explosive and plays a style of ball that Tubbs likes. Look for some screens, reverses and a few runs to him but when he does get the ball he'll make things happen.

Well it looks like me and the bro are against you on a coupld of plays this weekend. Matt really thinks Tech is going to win the game....I however am not sure about this outcome. I definitely hope you guys win but just don't see it with the new coach. Here are our plays for this weekend (if you care). Please comment if you disagree.

Northwestern - 7 vs Rice - Are you kidding me? Why aren't we pounding this with the entire bank roll. We have a Big 10 team vs who knows what conference Rice is in. Also, Rice is horrible and Northwestern is actually good. I see NW winning by a couple of touchdowns.
I like this play as well, why is Rice only getting 7 though?. That has to make you wonder. Plus, its at Rice. May be a sucker play, but I like it

Kansas St. -4 vs Iowa St. - Once again......Bank roll!!!! I feel even more confident about this one than NW. Iowa St. is horrible just check out their last game! Also, Kansas St. is awesome at home. Just check out what they did to my poor Aggies last year. And this is Synder's second year back! GAME OVER!!
Agreed, I love this one.

Notre Dame +3 vs Michigan St. - I just like Notre Dame....actually the coach (probably will go with ND all year)
Yeah, I love ND in this one. I hate going against MSU, they are decent. But ND is just a different team this year, you can already tell.

Neb -3.5 v Washington ? I love Neb here. This is a top tier big 12 team going against a top tier Pac10 team?. You do the math.

BYU v FSU (-9.5) ? FSU is going to roll BYU. Especially since BYU won last year and FSU needs a big win after getting killed last week by OU.

Wake Forest v Stanford (-17) ? This game is on the west coast!!! Wake Forest players will have their jammies on ready for bed by the time this kicks off.

Boise St (-23.5) v Wyoming ? Wyoming blew their load trying to keep up with Texas, this will be a walk in the park for Boise. Wyoming was beat by the pass last week and Boise is 10x better at the pass than UT.

Scott, I love Nebraska as well but that line is as fishy as it gets. Nebraska should win by 15+ but I guarantee this will be close.

Northwestern-they may win but it will be close. There's no way Northwestern will be up and excited to play at Rice. The site I follow has 62% of the people on NW but the line has gone down. Take Rice or leave it alone.

KSt Iowa St-Kst is the play IMO but not enough for me to take them. I like KSt with more games under their belt. The more practices they get with their coach the better they will be. Just has stinker written all over it.

ND-they're going to lose. They don't have a good run defense and they're off an emotional loss. Not a good set up for them.

Wake Forrest is my big play so far this year. It's a perfect set up. Wake is a good running team that will control the ball and the clock. Stanford is off of an away confernce game and next week they play at Notre Dame.

No thoughts on the other games.

Scott, how was Australia?

Big play for me here. I'm doing nothing but following the money here. High % of people on EC but the line has shot up. This game has set up written all over it. Take VTs last game and throw it out. They had a major let down. They went from feeling they may compete for a NC to being out of the chase after the first week. This will be their rebound game and IMO they will play with as much emotion in this game as any game all year. Add to this it's ECs first road game and you have the recipe.

That's it for me gents. I'm headed to Lubbock to have a blast.

Australia was great. Went diving on the great barrier reef which was awesome. But the best part was the crocodile farm! Those beast are awesome when they eat.

Have fun in Lubbock and good luck this weekend.
